Soon enough, we stopped dead in our tracks and I immediately recognised the room. We were in the garage of the mansion and everyone was here, including Jade and Cathy. They were sat on their respective chairs. "Welcome back." Sam said with a wide smile on his face. It quickly died when he inhaled, smelling the air. The other vampires seemed to notice whatever it was too.

"Dude, she's been bit?!" Jake exclaimed before he used his brain. I knew that if Colby could blush, he would be right now and he sat down and pulled me into his lap. I knew that I was blushing.

"He bit her, knucklehead." Mike rolled his eyes at his friend then smiled at Colby and I. "I thought you'd be completely against that, Ness?" Cathy looked gobsmacked, her jaw practically touching the floor while Jade seemed nervous. I gave her a gentle smile.

"He'll need his strength." I replied casually as I shuffled to sit up straighter.

"Wait so have you been like, sleeping for an entire day or something?" Jade questioned, looking as if she'd seen a ghost. I analysed her expression before I even thought about my answer.

"Yeah." I bit my lip shyly and looked back to everyone else.

"A princess vampire huntress who lets her vampire boyfriend feed on her... that's one for the history books." Kevin said with a laugh. I rolled my eyes and smiled while casting my eyes to Devyn. She seemed to be smirking a little. Oh, right. Corey usually feeds on her.

"Hold up." Elton was still frowning as he had been from the moment I entered the room. He flicked his gaze between Colby and I. "Why will he need his strength?" I looked at Colby to explain since I really didn't feel like it. He barely even gave me a nod as an answer.

"Miss vampire hunter over here decided to stake a very old vampire. Do you guys know John Dean?" Aaron looked at Sam worriedly, Who was already giving Colby a worried look. "And the people who're signed to him are pretty pissed. Apparently, the old bastard had plenty of old friends who are also pissed and the humans are teaming up with them." Corey looked at everyone in the group before he spoke so quietly us humans wouldn't be able to understand. I frowned angrily, shamefully, at him.

"Do not even think about neglecting to tell me anything." I said quickly as I stared at Colby. He watched me for a second then sighed but didn't speak. "Colby." I warned.

"I'll tell you later, alright?" I narrowed my eyes at him and glanced at Corey. Devyn was sat on his lap looking curious for what had been said too. It dawned on me that it was something they weren't allowed to know rather than something I couldn't know.

"Fine." I grumbled, leaning against Colby. Thoughts ran through my head, what could this be? Is it dangerous for them to go against other vampires? I mean, they're all really strong, I've learnt, so surely, they could take them. And maybe I could even convince my clan to team up with them. No, my parents would never agree to that. Especially if they knew what Colby was to me. What he means. This is really hard.
