"Why am I doing this again?" I asked Jade as we continued to drive towards the mansion. Why am I being friends with MANY vampires and their blood bags? It's against the rules and stupid for everyone involved.
"Because you love me and I actually quite like these guys." Jade replied, putting her phone into her pocket. I rolled my eyes playfully. Just then, my tattoo started tingling. I knew I'd have to endure this all night. I followed Mike's car onto the drive and soon enough was in pain from my tattoo burning my arm. It itched to kill a vampire. Any vampire. I could stand it yesterday because I'd killed one that day. Jade didn't seem all that bothered though as she just got out of the car to meet Mike and Cathy. The moment I stepped out of the car, it didn't burn anymore but instead, it fluttered. Like the butterflies I'd felt all morning... like when Colby kissed me not even two hours ago. I sighed and followed Jade and Cathy, Mike already gone. Probably to warn everyone else. Jade took my hand. "You okay?" She asked politely then hopped up a few steps at the same time.
"I guess." I grumbled, looking back at Cathy. She was happily smiling. I mean, she's JUST left the clan but she's still smiling like nothing happened. "I just don't want any of this to end up in an accident." I told her truthfully.
"None of them will hurt us." Cathy said with a laugh. She got ahead of me, walking backwards to speak.
"No I mean I don't want to kill one of them." I grinned at her knowing I'd made her fall into my trap. She rolled her eyes but still giggled. Mike appeared behind her though she didn't know. He was smirking up until she backed into his chest and spun around.
"You could've warned me!" Cathy scolded us. We just shrugged and walked through the front doors, leaving them to have their moment. Once again, the house was completely empty. The only sounds were coming from the garage so that's where we headed. Soon enough, Mike sped ahead of us holding Cathy in his arms. She laughed and pushed open the door while I rolled my eyes. I didn't need to see her being THAT happy about being with a vampire. Jade and I followed Mike and Cathy revealing the exact same creatures and girls as the night before. They were even in the same places. Colby's eyes met mine for a split second and my stomach had butterflies. Not to mention my tattoo fluttering insanely. I was just glad it wasn't burning.
