colby and i have basically gone back to the way we were before he asked me to be his girlfriend. we flirt with each other and everyone knows it but we aren't together.

we've been hanging out a lot which has been nice. i really missed him.

"colby stop!" i yelled as he tickled me for stealing a piece of his cookie.

"you're gonna pay for that, adelaide." he said laughing with me.

"i'll do anything! just leave me alone!!" i said laughing

"anything? give me your phone." he said, pausing the tickle attack on me

"no!" i said, breathing out from laughing so much

"okay then." he said, starting to tickle me again.

"okay, okay! here." i said handing him my phone.

i saw him open twitter and then he hid my phone screen from me, handing it back seconds later.

i laughed at his tweet and the noticed he had already tweeted me back

i favorited his tweet and then threw my phone to the other side of the couch

"awh, hows the happy couple?" jake said, walking into the living room

"we aren't dating!" we said at the same time

"yeah sure. i give it a months time." he said, laughing

i flipped him off and went back to focusing on a rerun of the vampire diaries i had been watching.

colby wasn't too into the show but he was following along. considering the only time this tv was used is when i watch TVD . asides from trap house movie nights but even then, we typically all just went into the theater room.

i sighed throwing my legs up over colbys lap.

"you okay?" colby asked me, i nodded to him and then flipped my hair over to the other side

after a moment of silence, i spoke up "i wish vampires were real."

colby stifled a laugh and then asked "why?"

"because it's so cute when they're protective. like having a vampire boyfriend would make me feel so safe, ya know. don't crush my dreams." i said laughing

"shouldn't it make you nervous since they could literally kill you?" he asked

"no. cmon you've watched twilight, right? and the vampire diaries." i said

"i have never seen twilight." he said, matter of factly.

"that's a lie!" i gasped

"it isn't." he said, smiling over at me.

"welp clear your plans for the night because you and i are having a twilight marathon. and that's final." i said

"i was gonna to brennens tonight but i guess i'll have to reschedule." he said smirking.

"do you wanna go exploring tomorrow? like no cameras. just me and you doing what we love like we used to?" he asked

"that sounds so nice. i havent... you know... been back to that place you took me since we broke up. it would've felt wrong to be there without you." i said
