december 24th

"okay this did not come with enough icing." i complained as colby and i's gingerbread house fell down.

"oh stop being a sore loser adelaide." kevin laughed.

we were in the middle of a very competitive gingerbread building contest. we had picked groups of all 4 of us couples and then mike and kevin, who we've all become very close to in the past two weeks.

"kevin, their house still looks better than ours." mike laughed

eventually, colby and i had our little gingerbread house made so now we had to decorate it. colby did most of the building and then allowed me to decorate most of it.

we weren't doing it for a video but i had the camera facing colby and i so i could put it in as a vlog montage.

colby was sitting on one of the bar stools with me in his lap since there weren't enough seats. we had 8 seats at the bar but with mike and kevin here, there were 10 of us.

kevin and mike lived in the apartment right above ours so they'd been over a lot in the past few weeks since we met.

"this looks like shit." tara laughed at her and jakes terribly built gingerbread house

"tara, it has character." jake laughed

"well at least yours is staying up." kat said, looking down at her and sams pile of gingerbread.

"let's be real, they all suck." mya said

we all agreed with that but continued to work on them

eventually, we came to the conclusion that the all looked terrible and that we were done.

i vlogged the 5 little houses and asked the viewers to leave a comment of whichever one is their favorite on the comments below.

everyone was spending the night at our apartment so i had the guest room set up for sam and kat and then i had two blow up mattresses in the loft for mya and corey and kevin. mike insisted on sleeping on the couch.

i had made everyone christmas eve baskets so we could all have matching pajamas.

the boys pajamas were red plaid jogger sleep pants and white tee shirts. the girls pajamas were silky red plaid shorts and long sleeve white tops that had our names on the pockets. i got everyone fuzzy socks to go along with the pajamas.

everyone had a gift card in their basket as well to their favorite restaurant. everyone also had a few little things that were custom to their basket and some snacks.

i let everyone open their little baskets before instructing everyone to change into their pajamas.

tara, kat and i all went into my room to put our pajamas on, colby going into our bathroom before us.

"can i come out now?" colby yelled out, knowing that the three of us were in there together.

"yeah. your girlfriend is the only one without a shirt on." tara said so i stuck my tongue out at her, throwing the shirt over my head as colby emerged from the bathroom.

he came over to me and pulled me into a hug "you look cute." he said, kissing my cheek.

"PDA. i'm out." kat laughed, walking out of my room. tara, colby and i followed behind her.

everyone was in their pajamas when i went out into the living room so i set my tripod up to take a group picture since we all matched.

we decided to watch a movie since it was getting late so we decided to watch christmas vacation.
