"Great!" Mrs. Baron says. She leaves to go sit at her desk leaving me and kio alone in the middle of the room.
"You know I'm good so I'm just gonna...you know," I sit down in an empty seat remembering the deal I made with Sierra and Gina. He rolls his eyes and sits down in the chair next to me. Ugh.
"Okay class!" Mrs. Baron is full of energy, "we have our first partner project of the year! If you turn to your side you will see your project partner for the rest of the year, we won't have that many partner projects but just for the time we do," I turn to my side to see kio, smirking at me with his dumb ass smirk.
"since this is a senior class and elena qualified to be in, it will be a little difficult for her so...kio," he turns to smile at me then turns back to the teacher, "I need you to help her a little bit more." great.
She has the rest of the class do station activities around the room and tells kio to give me some of his notes on 'complex minds vs disordered minds'. She gives me a journal and kio sits in front of me.
"Good morning elena," I give him no answer and just roll my eyes.
He chuckles a little bit at my reaction, "alright let's get started."
He tells me things to write down and what to highlight or underline. Despite his personality, he seems to be a very organized person. Which comes to be a surprise to me.
He stops talking and waits for me to write things down as he draws things in his journal. I don't notice but I find myself just staring at him.
