Roman and Remus lived a pretty boring life. Even the villagers agreed. The royal twins were pretty caged. They hardly went out of the castle. The villagers wished to do something to help the twins but there was nothing they could do without being beheaded in the end.
So the twins stayed in the palace. Roman found comfort in admiring all the handsome townsmen and knights outside the palace. Remus did the same but made up... questionable stories about them.
That's all I could think of. Any requests? I have writer's block rn. I don't mind what ship you request with what story, I'm keeping a small pouch of ideas for different Roman pairings. You can also request super angsty ideas, I will embrace them! I'll make sure to credit you, I won't present these story ideas as my own.
