You blushed furiously, completely and utterly embarassed by the situation as you wrapped a towel around you, desperately looking anywhere but behind you.

You must be confused, right? Well, you had been dragged to the hot springs along with the rest of the Akatsuki, by Tobi. Of course, you would have to use the womens baths, for obvious reasons. This meant that you would have to share with Konan, the only other female member of the organisation and whom you were completely and utterly in love with.

This meant you would be in a bath with Konan.

Alone.

And naked.

See the point here?

It was incredibly uncomfortable for you, having to try very hard not to stare as you both entered the water, her submerging herself at a relaxed speed whilst you practically dropped yourself into it in an attempt to hide your embarassment. She merely raised an eyebrow at your apparent haste, obviously not sharing your embarassment. You sighed inwardly. Of course she didn't.

Your love was completely unrequited. A one sided affair that will never amount to anything more than heartache.

A complete and utter torture that was likely created to fuck with you; a mockery. Yeah. That makes sense. It explains why you are currently completely naked in front of your crush, whilst she is completely unaffected by it.

And, oh god it is so hard not to stare. She is so beautiful. It takes a lot of willpower to prevent yourself from downright gawping at her. Instead, you find great interest in something in your lap as you focus all of your attention to looking anywhere but her, in an attempt to not give away your feelings her.

Sadly, you failed miserably, as displayed by the amused smile that formed on her face as she watched you flush. Her voice cut through the silence that had formed between you, causing you to start in surprise:

"Why are you so tense?"

You glanced up, only to flush in surprise as you noted that she was closer to you than you had originally thought, for there was very little space between you. You stuttered, cursing yourself silently at your inability to form actual words:

"U-um....."

She smiled warmly, before moving so that she was behind you, her hands moving to your shoulders, causing you to blush brighter, slowly massaging the tenseness from your body, causing you to relax slightly, leaning into her unconsciously, causing her to laugh lightly. You relaxed considerably after that, leaning next to eachother as you both enjoyed the tranquility of eachothers company, lulling you into a sense of security and confidence causing you to say:

"I love you."

You inhaled, your eyes widening as you realised what you had just said, a sense of panic filling you as you waited for the oncoming rejection.

But it never came.

Instead, her lips were against yours in a chaste and gentle kiss, causing you to gasp slightly as she pulled away, her smile warm and loving as she said words you had never dared to hope to hear, your fears ebbing away in relief and joy:

"I've been waiting for you to say that."

This was meant to be an Utakata (who I like but can never find fanfiction for) oneshot but it turned into another Konan onehot as I was writing.
