Gaara x Fem Reader! AU!

You yawned, fatigue washing over you as you picked up the groceries, preparing to leave the store, only to be stopped by the loud yelling of your friend, notifying you of her presence:

"[NAME]! WAIT FOR ME! I HAVE THAT PREGNANCY TEST YOU ASKED FOR!"

.....and every other person in the vicinity, apparently... You turned, only to have a figure smash into your own, arms wrapping around you in a hug as your eyes widened in surprise. You prepared to injure them to force them to let go, only to realise that it was the friend who had just notified the entire area as to the possibility of you being pregnant.

Wonderful. Just wonderful.

You sighed, before voicing as calmly as you could manage:

"[Friends name]. Please let go, I can't breathe."

She gasped, letting go of you before going into a corner, mushrooms sprouting around her, causing you to sweatdrop at her bipolarness, moments before she jumped back up, practically glowing with excitement as she grabbed your hand, words gushing out in a stream that you were barely able to decipher:

"But you could be pregnant! Oh, you and Gaara would have such adorable children! Oooh, we must find out immediatley."

And so you were dragged down the street, groceries clutched in your arms as she rushed you towards your house, evidently excited to find out whether or not you would be a mother, based on the squealing she was doing currently. You never understood how she could be this energetic about anything. She shoved you through the door of your house, causing you to stumbe slightly as you nearly fell, only to be steadied by a pair of strong arms, causing you to look up, only to meet the confused see-foam eyes of your boyfriend who was probably raising a non-existent eyebrow, but you couldn't tell. You coughed, thanking him as you gestured towards your friend who was currently shutting the door in an answer to his question, causing him to nod in understanding. The groceries were then dumped into his arms by your beaming friend as she pulled you upstairs to the bathroom whilst you silently thanked the fact that she hadn't mentioned anything about the possible pregnancy.

You really didn't want him to find out from your over hyper friends fangirling.

The bathroom door was locked as she floruished the pregnancy test in front of you with gleaming eyes, before turning away to allow you to do it without her staring at you. You sighed, glad that she at least gave you some privacy, before completing the instructions and waiting for the results, only to blink as a little 'positive' appeared on the stick.

Huh. You're pregnant.

......................................................................................................Holy crap. Right. You did not expect it to be positive.

Right. Well, that's all well and good. Now you just need to tell Gaara. Um, right. That should be fun.

"CONGRATULATIONS GAARA! YOUR CHILD IS GOING TO BE ADORABLE!"

......well, at least you don't have to worry about telling him anymore. [Friends name] beat you to it.

Wonderful.

You sighed, heading down the stairs to find out what had happened, only to find Gaara standing frozen in the kitchen, a look of shock embeded on his features. You coughed, causing his head to snap towards you, disbelief painted in his eyes as he stared at you. Ah, crap- maybe it was too early. Perhaps you should have abortd it in secret. Oh well, there's nothing that can be done now. You scratched the back of your neck awkwardly, before swallowing and laughing uncomfortably whilst saying:

"I'm pregnant."

He stared at you for several heart stopping moments, his eyes unreadable until his face broke into a smile as he moved closer to you, his arms wrapping around you as your lips were joined together, causing you to relax, relief filling you at the gesture as you moved your lips in sync with his. A tongue slid over your lip, asking for entrance, to which you gladly granted. A slight moan escaped you as you felt his tongue slide in, making laps around the wet cavern before gently coaxing your own in, your arms wrapping around his neck as his arm went around your waist for support, your body feeling weak with joy. Your tongues danced with eachother in a display of passion and love, until neither of you could breathe, forcing you to reluctantly pull apart for oxygen. Your face was flushed as he smiled warmly, his hand cupping your face as he pressed a kiss to your forehead before resting his head near the crook of your neck, his voice tender as he spoke:

"We're going to be a family."
