Before Y/N could comprehend what was happening, she, Steve, and Peggy were on a plane being piloted by Howard Stark. Y/N was definitely not pleased with where they all currently were. Specifically, where they were heading. She was currently sitting opposite her brother in the plane. Arms folded across her body, glaring out at the current war zone they were in. She flinched at every bombing. Steve watched, with some guilt in his eyes. He shouldn't have insisted she join him on tour, or, more recently, this plane. If he wasn't coming back, which he didn't want to think about, Steve wanted her with him as long as possible.

"The HYRDA camp is in Krausberg," Peggy stated, telling Steve all she knew. "Tucked between these two mountain ranges. It's a factory of some kind."

"We should be able to drop you right on the doorstep," Howard shouted from the pilot's seat.

""Just get me as close as you can," Steve requested. "You know, you two are gonna be in a lot of trouble at the lab."

"And you won't?" Peggy retorted.

"Where I'm goin', if anybody yells at me I can just shoot 'em."

"And they'll just shoot back," Y/N fumed. Steve sighed, giving his sister a sad look. She simply looked away.

"Y/N's right," Peggy said.

"Well, let's hope it's good for somethin'." Steve knocked at his shield.

"Agent Carter, if we're not in too much of a hurry, I thought we could stop off in Lucerne for a late night fondue," Howard suggested. Peggy looked awkwardly at Steve, who was getting his parachute ready.

"Stark is the best civilian pilot I've ever seen," Peggy tried to change the subject. "He's mad enough to brave this airspace, we're lucky to have him."

"So are you two... do you... fondue?" Steve stuttered as he motioned between Peggy and Howard. Y/N let out a quiet giggle. Her brother could be so innocent sometimes.

"This is your transponder," Peggy stated, ignoring Steve's stuttering and handing him the transponder. "Activate it when you're ready and the signal will lead us straight to you."

"Are you sure this thing works?"

"It's been tested more than you, pal," Howard said.

The plane then begun to be attacked, Howard unable to fly it steadily. Y/N clenched her eyes shut as she struggled to grab onto something to steady herself. Steve quickly went to her, grabbing her head and pulling it toward him. He held a kiss to her forehead.

"I love you," he whispered.

"I love you too," she whispered back, failing to hold back tears.

She knew there was no point in trying to stop him. He was going to do whatever he wanted to do. Steve gave her one last kiss and a small smile before heading to the open door of the plane.

"Get back here!" Peggy demanded. "We're taking you all the way in."

"As soon as I'm free, you turn this thing around and get the hell outta here!" Steve shouted back. He looked Peggy dead in the eye. "Get her outta here," he pleaded, glancing at Y/N.

"You can't give me orders!"

"The hell I can't! I'm a Captain!" He gave her a teasing grin before pushing his goggles down and jumping out of the plane.
