Y/N couldn't be happier to be home. She practically ran off the jet and into the Tower. Her eyes were instantly searching for Tony. She was surprised that he wasn't waiting for her. All Y/N wanted was to be in his arms. As she rushed towards the lab, she bumped into Bruce.

"I'm so sorry, Bruce," she said.

"It's okay," he chuckled. "Looking for Tony?"

"Mhm," she hummed with a nod.

"He's in the lab with Harley."

"Harley?"

"Yeah, Tony brought the kid in a few days ago."

That surprised Y/N, but in a very good way. She wished Bruce a good day before going back to her quest to find Tony. She smiled as she entered the lab to see Harley and Tony intensely talking over something.

"Not having too much fun without me, I hope," Y/N commented with a smile as she walked further into the room.

"I told JARVIS to warn me when you were landing," Tony whined, hurrying over to his girlfriend.

"I did, sir," the AI defended himself. "You were just too busy to listen."

Tony scoffed. "I'm never too busy for her." He kissed her lips before pulling back and taking a good look at her. He instantly knew that something was bugging her. "What's wrong?"

"It's nothing," Y/N shrugged it off.

"Y/N-"

"Not now," Y/N whispered before looking at Harley with a smile. "Hey Harley! I didn't know you'd be in town."

"Tony picked me up a few days ago. Said he needed the company," Harley replied.

"Oh yeah?" Y/N eyed Tony.

"Hey!" Tony exclaimed, in mock offense. "You don't understand how lonely I get without you around."

"And you can't just hang out with Bruce more?"

"Bruce already knows everything."

Y/N chuckled. "Alright, alright. You boys fine if I go and take a little nap?"

"Sure," Harley nodded.

"I'll join you," Tony said.

"No, it's okay," Y/N said, shaking her head. "You have a guest."

"But-"

"It's okay Y/N, really," Harley said. "Tony hasn't gotten much sleep cause you're away and his constantly flicking those bands on his wrists. I'll be fine."

"Are you sure?" Y/N asked.

"He's sure," Tony answered for him, grabbing her hand. "Thanks kid."

Tony quickly pulled her out of the lab, heading for the elevator. Y/N happily let him take the lead. Once they were in the elevator, heading to their floor, Tony wrapped an arm around Y/N's waist and pulled her in. His free hand came up to cradle her head and hold it against him.

"You okay?" He whispered.

"Better now that I'm with you," Y/N replied at the same volume. She buried her head into Tony's chest, wrapping her arms around him tightly. "I had to see him again..."

Tony tensed. "I can't believe they made you go down there again."

"And Fitz found out about him..."

"How he take it?"

"Tried to show him how it felt to lose brain cells. He said that he wished he could have shown Ward how I felt."
