Duffle slung over her shoulder, Y/N made her way to the hanger. She nodded in satisfaction as she took in the aircraft, they had named The Bus, before her. Agents were loading things onto as she approached.

"Agent Rogers," a fine man in a suit called to her as he came walking up beside her, duffle bag in hand.

Y/N recognized him from the files Fury gave her as Agent Grant Ward. He was the specialist that would help May take Coulson down. He stopped and held out a hand.

"Agent Ward," Y/N greeted, shaking his hand.

"This team must be a bigger deal than I thought if they're bringing you in."

"Nah," Y/N waved it off as they began walking again. "I told Fury I wanted something a little simpler then undercover, ops missions."

"Simpler? I thought those would be simpler after saving the world?"

"They are. Still, I needed the change."

"It's interesting to me that Coulson and Hill both told me that none of the Avengers know about Coulson being alive, yet here you are."

"Technically I'm a SHIELD agent first."

"Ah."

"How about you? Will this be easier or harder for you since you're a specialist and all?"

"Harder. Definitely harder."

The two made their way around the aircraft, to the ramp. They looked around, both impressed at the design. Two others were in there, getting their stuff moved in as they journeyed up the ramp.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, watch it!" A Scottish male hurried toward the female picking something up. "That's the night-night gun."

"Well it's on my stuff, and it doesn't work," the British female replied, "and there's no way were calling it the night-night gun."

"The bullets work," the male continued as both him and the female entered the other room.

"This should be interesting," Y/N muttered to Ward as they followed the other two.

"They aren't even trained for combat," Ward responded.

"That's one of the reasons I'm here."

"And I couldn't have done it?"

"If I remember correctly, you don't have the correct people skills."

"Whatever. Which one's which? I've only seen them referred to as Fitz-Simmons."

"Guess we'll have to ask."

Y/N and Ward walked so they were standing in the doorway of the room the two scientists were bickering in. Ward threw down his duffle with a thud, causing the two scientists to look their way.

"Fitz-Simmons?" Ward questioned, clearly annoyed.

"Fitz," the female answered, pointing to the male.

"Simmons," the male answered, pointing to the female. "I'm engineering, she's biochem. Agent Ward?" Ward nodded.

"And you're Agent Rogers," Simmons gushed. "We have heard so much about you and we can't wait to get started with you."

"Yeah," Y/N responded. "Coulson here yet?"

"Not yet," Fitz replied.

"Well, tell him all be upstairs waiting for him."

Y/N took her leave up the winding staircase that was just beside her. If she thought Tony's jets were nice before, they were nothing compared to this. She was going to need to tell Tony to up his game in that department before SHIELD beat him to it. She found an unclaimed room and began putting her things away.
