After Fury had benched her, Y/N found herself in the gym, punching away at a punching bag. As she punched, she focused on the Mind Stone that was only a few floors away from her. It had started calling to her almost as soon as she had started going at the punching bag. Though, Y/N couldn't understand what it wanted with her.

Steve had gone searching for Y/N not long after she left with Fury. He stopped by the lab, thinking that there might be a possibility that she would be with Stark and Banner. But instead of finding his twin, he got in a bit of a fight with Stark. Steve was struggling with that man. He was cocky, much like his father Howard, but it was over the top. Tony did hit a nerve with Steve, saying that he thought Fury was hiding something. It made Steve want to go look for something. But in order to do that, he needed Y/N. He found her in the gym.

"What's wrong?" Steve immediately asked upon seeing her take out her feelings.

"Fury benched me," she grunted, not stopping what she was doing.

"That might not be the worst idea," Steve said, walking closer to her.

"Great! So you agree with him too."

"We both know that Loki was talking about you, in there. Fury's right to pull you, especially if he thinks that Loki's going to try and get to you."

"None of us know what we are talking about, we don't know what my connection to the Stones even means."

"Wait, Stones? I thought you were connected to the Tesseract? What are these Stones?"

"The Tesseract. I meant the Tesseract."

Steve looked at Y/N, unbelieving, as Y/N walked over to the side of the room and grabbed a water bottle.

"Did you need something, Steve? Or did you just come down here to be all overbearing and brotherly?"

Steve sighed. "I need your help. Stark thinks that Fury is hiding something. I want to prove Stark wrong, but I also have a feeling that he's onto something."

"The secure storage units then," Y/N answered, unwrapping her hands. "That's where you need to look. Even I've never been in those."

"Can you lead me to them?"

"Of course." Y/N looked her brother dead in the eye. "I can even show you where we can get in without running into anyone."

It wasn't suspicious to anyone to see the Rogers twins walking around. Y/N was quick to lead Steve to an iron door, sealed shut. She motioned to it with her head, signaling Steve to pry it open as she stood watched. Steve slid the door open and the two looked around before sneaking through the opening. The storage room was more like a large warehouse, filled with stacks of metal crates. The two looked around and upon seeing another level, Steve knelt down. Y/N put her foot in his cupped hands, allowing Steve to throw her up to grab the catwalk before Steve leaped up himself.

The two snuck around, looking through crates until they found what they were looking for. There were crates full of old HYDRA weapons. Ones that the twins were too familiar with.

"Stark was right," Steve muttered, grabbing one of the weapons.

"Why would Fury need these?" Y/N wondered. "He only had permission to find a way to make the Tesseract an unlimited energy simply. Unless..."

"Unless he lied. Now let's go show this to Stark and see what else Fury's hiding.

The two quickly headed to the lab. Tony, Fury, and Bruce were already in there. Tony was questioning Fury.

"What is Phase 2?" Tony asked.

Steve dropped the weapon he took on one of the tables, causing the men to turn around. "Phase 2 is SHIELD uses the cube to make weapons," Steve stated. "Sorry, the computer was moving a little slow."
