Killian's right hand, Savin, met Killian as he walked out of the room where Tony was being held. "Once we get the Patriot installed, it will take me 9 or 10 minutes for the takedown," Savin informed Killian as they walked.

"Well, that's great," Killian said. "But the last time I looked there was somebody inside of it."

The men walked into a room where the Iron Patriot suit was hanging up by chains. They were trying to get into with Rhodey still inside of it.

"Afternoon, gentlemen," Killian greeted as he took off his suit coat. "Hello, Colonel. Step aside." Killian rested a hand on the front of the suit and a hand on the back and then began heating up the suit. "Oh! We'll get you out of there. Don't worry."

"You'll damage the armor," Savin stated.

"Yes, I will. But you can fix it, right? I'm gonna take the Chinook to base camp. And I want both Potts and Rogers with me."

"They're still in phase two."

"You're not going deaf, are you?"

With that, the order was given and both women were moved to a ship yard. They both were is so much pain, praying for someone to come and save them. They were injected with more Extremis when they got there. Killian walked up as his assistants added more into their IVs. Both Y/N and Pepper gasped, waking up from the pain induced sleep they had succumbed to.

"Hi," Killian greeted, a smile lacing his features.

Pepper began to look around, breathing heavily. Y/N just looked straight ahead, she couldn't let him get to her. She needed to be the agent she was trained to be and not break. But that was turning out to be easier said than done.

"You think he's gonna help you?" Pepper said. She shook her head. "He won't."

Killian moved closer to Pepper. "Having you here, Pepper, is not just to motivate Tony Stark. That's more her job." He pointed over to Y/N. "Having you here... It's um... Well, it's actually more embarrassing than that. You're here as my, um..."

"Trophy."

"Mmm," Killian chuckled.

Pepper turned away from Killian to look at Y/N, who was refusing to make eye contact with her. Pepper wasn't stupid. Ever since Pepper had found Y/N and Tony sleeping together on the couch the first time, she'd known that Y/N was the only woman he would ever truly love. But things happened, and Pepper was there for Tony when Y/N wasn't. Pepper hoped that Tony would change his mind the longer they were together, but that didn't seem to be the case. It truly hurt Pepper when Killian said that she was just there as a trophy while Y/N was the true motivator.

Pepper and Y/N both quickly looked passed Killian when they heard the familiar sound of a flying suit. The Iron Patriot landed in the door way and walked in. Pepper looked relieved, hoping it was Rhodey, but Y/N knew that that would be too good to be true.

"Good evening, sir," Killian greeted. The suit opened up to reveal President Ellis. Pepper gasped as the President fell to the ground. "Welcome aboard, Mr. President."

As Killian continued to talk to the President about Extremis and his plan, Pepper was moved to somewhere else in the ship yard to be kept safe. Killian really wanted his trophy not to be in the way. Y/N was left there to listen to everything. In that moment, she wished she had let Steve come. Maybe she wouldn't be in this mess if she would have just let her brother come and help. But it was too late now. And she needed to figure out a plan to get out of here, and fast.

After Tony and Rhodey escaped the Miami mansion, they failed to save the President. But did locate the ship yard where the President, Y/N, and Pepper were taken. As they headed there, the silence of the boat ride had become too much for Rhodey.
