I picked strawberry on the other side, and I took a small glance at Xiao. He wears a white hat with a small ribbon on it. Wearing a dark blue t-shirt, and long pair of pants. How glory.
He examines the fruit carefully, and then lick it. A few seconds later, he cleaned his tongue and his expression was priceless. I hold my laugh so he can't hear me.
After that, I took him to the cafeteria and show him the chocolate fountain." And what are we supposed to do with this brown substance?"." It's chocolate, Xiao. Here's the best way to eat it!" I show him.
He looks so confused, but then he does the same thing. The strawberry on the stick is already covered with hot melted chocolate. He looks at it and takes a small bite.
" So? How is it?"." It's...okay," he replied? I smiled at his reply, and let him try more. He seems to like marshmallows with chocolate. He enjoys it all to himself, meanwhile, I buy a packed strawberry for him.
He asked " Why are you buying me this?"." Well," I shrugged " I don't know when you will go back to Liyue, so some merchandise from other World won't hurt,". He sighed and excepted my gift.
Later, at the Hotel...
" Y/N, what are you doing?" Xiao asks while I'm sitting on my bed with my laptop on my lap. " I'm trying to find a way to get you guys home," Xiao doesn't sound pleased. Sure, he wants to go back to Liyue, he has a job there. But now...he feels something that tells him to stay.
He sits beside me and lays his head on my shoulder. "What's...on your mind?"." Well, I'm thinking to see the spiral abbys. That's the only place I could think of,". I fight some monster at spiral Abby, of course, it takes a few minutes.
I appreciate every single character. Even though I didn't get the character I want, that doesn't stop me from farming them. All of my characters are now Lv 90, with a lot of damage and good artifacts.
As I was trying to defeat a few harbingers, I hear a soft snore. I look at my shoulder, Xiao is asleep while crossing his arms. I chuckle and shut down my laptop. Then, I rest my head on his shoulder and start to sleep as well.
Short Xiao POV
Y/N is already planning to send us home. I should be a delight...but deep down, I don't want to let go of them. Somehow, my karma debt has begun less painful around them, it's very weird.
I tightened my arms around their waist, buried my face on their shoulder. These mortal feelings...what is it. It's a feeling that I wish to be with you. We may thousand years different, but the feeling didn't stop it.
