March 7th - Prompt: In the clouds

-------------

"You've all got your head in the clouds."

That was a sentence the Pevensies heard often, perhaps too often.

Their Mum would catch Lucy daydreaming, and say it to her.

Their Dad would catch Peter and Edmund "swordfighting" and say it to them.

"You've always got your head in the clouds."

They thought they were playing games, daydreaming about fairytales, but they weren't, and they knew that, but their parents didn't.

Their parents didn't know about Narnia, who's to say they'd believe them if they told them anyway?

It was their secret, and they never minded the comment, after all no one knew.

So they continued there daydreaming, thinking about past adventures and fun times.

They continued there swordfighting matches, ignoring the eyes of their father watching them.

They continued to whisper together long into the night, telling Narnian stories or reliving past events.

Everyone else thought they were just children with wild imaginations, but they knew... they knew that that was not true.
