So, I'm back 😂 I will add new rants to as a chapter before the chapter labeled "the end".

But oh my gosh. This place is becoming a dating site again to people it seems 🤦🏻‍♀️

So, for those who don't know, I did come out as agender earlier this year and my pronouns reflect that on my page. You'd THINK people who want to message you would check this before addressing you with a gendered title.

Not to creepy cis men on here.

I've had a few DM trying to flirt. I've blocked them as I'm not dealing with creepy old men. And yes, most are 30+. I'm merely 23 and not interested in someone that much older than me. My partner is actually 5 months younger than me.

But anyways, on my profile it says THEY/THEM.

I also put in my Wattpad settings (in account security, name change area, etc) that my pronouns are they/them, so the coded system can indicate when gender is necessary to say she/he/they.

Well... I got this a day or so ago and I just now checked my DMs on here.

This is what they said and my response

And if a blind person is using audio, here is the description of text above.

Message sender has sent the following message:
"Hello pretty lady how are you doing today the beautiful weather on your side" along with two heart emojis following the text

My reply back to this sender is the following message:
"Hi, I'm not a lady. If you were actually interested in knowing me, please check my pronouns."

End of image description.

Just... no.

I hate people like this. I deal with it on the daily at work with my pronouns slapped large and loud on my name tag and also the agender flag on my flannel. And you'd think, YOUD THINK people would notice you intending a lower voice would get you don't identify with what you were born as. But no, I still get people intentionally misgendering me all the time.

So when THIS happens up above, it peeves me off. It's someone who doesn't respect pronouns and most likely is going to start verbally assaulting me once they see I said I'm agender.

But yeah, respect people's pronouns. Those of us in the trans community do not like being intentionally misgendered.

Yeah, we are open and educate if someone doesn't know, but intentional and creepy stuff like above isn't okay.
