Just things that peeve me off here on Wattpad and things in general. Instead of filling my tip book with rants, I'll put them here so they don't clutter up space I could be putting writing advice.
Note: If you're easily offended, don't read.
Okay, so I just woke up (from an awesome dream that gave me an epic idea for a story) and saw a notification from Wattpad of someone DMing me.
Immediately I knew it wouldn't be good because the notification style showed part of their message being "JESUS". Like... seriously?
This is the message I got:

I am a Christian, yes, but not everyone on this site is. There are people of many religions here and those who don't believe at all. UPDATE 2021: I am no longer Christian, but was back in 2018. Just want to note my point still stands, but I will not associate with a group that is mostly hateful.
And ya know what? You're awesome.
Why? Because religion should not be defined as something to start a fight on who's right and who's wrong.
What grinds my gears though is how people just go about talking and trying to convince someone to join their religion.
RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE'S BELIEFS.
Also, Wattpad is not the place to spread the word of religion. Religious stories are fine to make! But private messaging people to convert them? No. That isn't.
I've simply blocked the person who's messaged me since it's some bs that people shouldn't try. I already deal with Jehovah Witnesses coming to my home and also stalking me across campus to talk to me when I'm trying to get to class. It's rude and annoying since they persist on even when I tell them I already have a church.
Don't even start using Wattpad as a place to push religious agenda in converting people. This is a place to write stories and talk about them too. Keep it away!
