Alright, we all know there are authors on Wattpad who get paid for their works. And that's great! If an ad appears in between chapters on their stuff, I'm completely fine with watching it.
But what ticks me off is when it appears on someone's work if they aren't getting paid.
If there's an ad on their work, shouldn't they get some profit like the authors being paid on here? That's the only reasonable area I find the ads to be.
And I understand Wattpad is trying to make money as they have teams of people they do pay, but seriously...
Ambassadors volunteer their time. They don't get paid anything from what I understand. Yet they work for Wattpad in a sense.
It just annoys me that there's ads on amazing works I love where the author isn't even getting a penny for their story.
Place the advertisements on the stuff where authors make money, not on the books people offer on here for free!
