Just things that peeve me off here on Wattpad and things in general. Instead of filling my tip book with rants, I'll put them here so they don't clutter up space I could be putting writing advice.

Okay, this is not a Wattpad related rant, but actually one directed at the Tumblr notification I just got.
It said Cancer started today, on the 22nd of June...
Um, no. Tumblr, stop being incorrect about shit, just stop.

For those of you who don't know, Cancer is the official start of summer as it's a cardinal sign. All four cardinal signs start a season.
Now, Cancer is summer, Capricorn is winter. How the Romans (the people who created the zodiacs) set it up is that they start on the solstices.
So that means the winter solstice is the start of Capricorn. The summer solstice is the start of Cancer.
Summer solstice = June 21st
That is the start! Not the 22nd!
I wouldn't notice this if it weren't for having to do intense research for my book (as the zodiacs are basically a religion the citizens live by in it), but I do now thanks to it.
Get your damn facts straight Tumblr. Stop getting things wrong.
