COVID-19 pt 2

I'm an essential worker, if that wasn't obvious from the last chapter.

I'm continuing the complaint of this virus due to the lack of respect some people have in this whole situation.

But UPDATE ON PAY!!!
My company is continuing keeping it up now due to my state's stay at home order now being extended. So I get an extra 2 bucks an hour (plus today I get time and a half since it's Memorial Day, so about $93 will be earned today!). Will be nice to finally have money for a Nintendo Switch. Now to wait for my store to get them back in stock...

But back to this complaint chapter...

Masks

I am wearing them. They gave me a nasty nose zit. But I'm still wearing it over my mouth and nose.

Yesterday at work I saw so many people not wearing their masks properly. They only covered their mouths.

Our noses are one of the worst portions for spreading germs. To not cover your nose is the equivalent to a man wearing a condom and cutting the tip of it off.

What this means is that not wearing the mask over your mouth AND NOSE is ineffective.

"But if it isn't an N95 mask, it's useless..."

Actually, nope.

It still works.

My masks are fabric masks that get washed every day.

Wearing a mask isn't for your protection, but for those around you.

It stops moisture droplets from you from getting in the air. So wearing none is reducing the amount of germs you give out in public.

Eyes and ears can also cause spread, but ONLY if you touch them. So if you do mess with your ears or eyes, wash them with soap and water or use hand sanitizer (instant wash liquid that kills bacteria. Found out recently it has different names in every country).

Please be kind and courteous of those around you and wear a mask.

A fabric mask or even a t-shirt around your nose and mouth is better than nothing.

I was so on edge yesterday with the amount of people less than a foot away from me not wearing them properly.
