Rants: The Things That Piss Me Off On Wattpad

Glitches + Life Update

It's been a bit, no? Well, I did update on August 30th, so I think it has.

I'm currently using wattpad from my computer, which sucks. Mostly because my keys seem to be a lot more sensitive on the website than any other site, video game, or other program requiring my laptop's keyboard (which is kinda ironic since my key board used to be sticky on wattpad).

Why not get on my phone? It'd be easier!

Nope.

I updated the app on September 1st, which was also move in day for freshmen.

I go to log in on the app during the lunch they provided for our four-day intro to university. I wanted to work on Awakening since I finished my lunch faster than the others in my group.

After just two small sentences of Molly and Nic conversing in my story, the app freezes. I wait a moment and scroll, but it's still frozen.

In the next moment, Wattpad crashes.

Now, I know the Wattpad app can be buggy after an update, but this happened to me the next few days as well on their app.

I've filed a bug report with them.

The chick who runs the app troubleshooting messaged me two days afterward and said Wattpad will get to taking care of the problem.

But guess what?

It's now the 11th and I'm still having problems with the app. I'm currently installing the September 8th update, but I'm still pissed.

My computer is going to have a junkload of pdf files on it from my professors. I don't have leisure time to write my stories either as an art major. The legit only time I have to write is while I'm waiting for my professor to walk into the room and start class, when I'm in line to buy a meal, or when I'm eating.

I DON'T HAVE MY LAPTOP IN THOSE AREAS.

I ONLY HAVE MY PHONE.

Wattpad, please take care of those shitty bugs so those of us who use the app can write our stories. I'm having to use my lecture time for Art History to write this.

Now, if you're still reading, this is the life update part.

I'm really busy at the moment.

I'm going to be closing my cover shop once I look at the people who've requested since I was last on. It isn't permanent, it will only be until I have time to do them again.

I thought I'd have more free time in college for wattpad, but apparently not. I have an art professor that wants us filling our sketch books weekly and then a math class where I have a crap ton of high school level math homework to do.

I seriously don't know when I'll be free to rant about cliches, stupid wattpadians, or whatnot. It's not a farewell, but please know I might not be active or I may just only comment to stay active for the time being. I'm trying to work on my books, but wattpad is being a little shit on my phone.
