Ever get into an amazing book on here? One that has you completely engaged and on the edge of your seat?
I know I do, especially with Victorian thrillers.
I can be reading a book nonstop, generally skipping sleep as well. And I'll let you know one thing, I don't ever skip sleep unless something better comes up.
I'm so engrossed into the book, and soon I reach the last chapter posted.
I'm a bit antsy usually because it's on a cliffhanger or some juicy info is about to be spilled. I WANT TO READ MORE.
So, since I'm so eager, I look at when it was last updated.

You mean to say this amazing book hasn't been updated in a year?
Usually, I get upset since I used to only have this problem on Quotev and it was impossible to tell if the author was still active or not.
Wattpad usually shows people's most recent activity, only if the user doesn't delete it.
When I look at their account, the last activity is usually a comment to someone back on the book I was reading. But the date is a year before!
It makes me upset because now I know it won't continue and then I sulk.
I know I don't update often, but that's usually because I'm busy with other work (school, musical, etc) when I want to write, and then in my free time I want to be a couch potato.
I really hope I don't become like this... 😳
