Chapter 25: Lurking in the shadows III [Adumfor Arc I]

It was the next morning, the king finds himself talking with his daughter about the current problems with the anti-heroes and possible criminals and villains. They are lurking in the shadows, keeping their timing to near perfection.

Isabella: So father, how do we deal with em?

George drinks his tea as he looked at Isabella.

George: Vlad & Elaina couldn't catch that anti-hero and a boy attacked em... Problems are that some people started to want more freedom, as well as that the more freedom, the higher the crime is... Democracy might've worked for others, but it won't... In short, I think we should put an iron fist on these criminals... Strict the security and ask for help from the heroes and Sila Silver, in order to secure the island.

Isabella: You sure this is gonna work, last time ya tried iron fist... You almost lost a duel for the throne if it wasn't for your special attack.

George: This time, it won't be the same. For now, we will try with iron fist against those criminals who try to ruin the Adumfor safety & security of our people...

Isabella did agree with her father on a lot of things, however... This remained questionable.

Isabella: Yeah, for the people.

Isabella seemed to not agree with her father on that part, she has been reading human culture and stories about the world wars & the cold war. Communism vs Capitalism, Fascism vs the world, empires and such. She seemed much more dedicated to change Adumfor. As the monarchy for demons starts to grow more ineffective overtime.

Isabella: However, wouldn't it be better if we sent UltraX again to deal with the boy that attacked Elaina & Vlad?

George looked at Isabella and then...

George: Probably... He could take care of that, however the boy who attacked the two seems to have some sort of illusion manifestation or camouflage manifestation since Elaina couldn't see him until he revealed himself. Both work for stealth.

Isabella: True, especially if combined with demon dna or say someone eating demons...

George looked away as he was a little nervous about those type of people.

Isabella: The thorns family of ours may have had great history, but 3 of our family members fallen victim to those type of people, one of them was mom...

Meanwhile outside, someone was listening to their conversation though the window. That someone looked like a girl, cute and has been writing the info on paper... She seemed to be interested into "someone who eats demons." which leads to a question... What does she mean by that?

30 minutes later, the girl gets off her spot and walks away casually with those papers. Who was she?

Name: Kazuna Healos

Age: 21

Information: Kazuna was born on Adumfor, however she ended up being a different species of a demon. Her parents left her at the age of 15 due to a family drama between Kazuna & her mother leading to Kazuna living outside of the cities in a big cave and later on becoming an anti-hero in Adumfor. Kazuna's powers are unknown at the moment, all that is known is that her demon specie can take a human form as their normal form and turn into demon form for fighting.
