Chapter 81: Power-hunger III [Adumfor Arc II]

The power hunger may be able to overpower you into ways that could turn you into a whole different person, within that time of happening, you will want to surpass every single one of your opponents and upcoming opponents tot he point where you would turn against society.

2 hours later, the woman from the airport arrives at where Elijah & The Cursed energy devil were and she greets them catching their attention as they both walk up to her.

Cursed Energy Devil: Makima, finally. The war devil seems to have found her way to here and she has attacked my host just now.

Makima: And as a devil who is hosted by this "human" ya were not gonna help them?

Cursed Energy Devil: If I did, it wouldn't make a difference, his mastery of Cursed Energy is just good, but not good enough to handle the war devil.

Cursed Energy Devil sighs.

Makima: So, about the plan, shall we discuss?

Cursed Energy Devil nods.

Makima: Ok good, so as the Eclipse is coming on the 15th of August, the so called Eclipse has a side-effect buffing all devils by 35% of their normal output and giving them immensely higher then usual physical stats, so while the population is busy we can plan our attack against the queen and force her into a contract with me.

Cursed Energy Devil: I dunno how did you manage to lose your previous one, but it seems like a plan. However, there is a dangerous being on that Eclipse claimed as the twin sister, from what I remember in the era during the now immortal Nyan, she played a great factor in his massacare against humans & demons a-like.

Makima: And you suggest with that?

Cursed Energy Devil: Due to that, maybe that twin sister will shatter the hope of survival and force Isabella into a contract with a devil, possibly that is where you come in, make the contract, defeat the twin sister and you get your own demon hunter HQ in Adumfor, contract and of course whole new identity and you presume the hunt for chainsaw man's corspe. Of course if ya want things to play out good, I suggest you see what happens during the Eclipse.

Elijah was interested, but then again he didn't want to end up Makima taking over the Adumfor kingdom due to his plans, he needed to kill Elaina due to the duel rules, he had to defeat Ultra before August 15th, but if the Eclipse rumours are true, then he won't be alive for another day.

Makima: Tempting really, it could work, but are you sure it is gonna be atleast 50/50?

Cursed Energy Devil: Well, of course. Plus the seals are gonna be completely weakened, which gives the return of Nyan and which could be the 50/50 we need, since it could go either ways. UltraX, the one who escaped your grasp is here. 

Makima: What does he have to do with this, he cannot be that strong to beat the Eclipse twin sister and Nyan...

Cursed Energy Devil: You will be wrong, after he took care of the Monster devil, he also managed to kill the Electricity devil with Denji and the Tank devil. Given the fact he also is able to keep up with me and is faster then you, it should imply something.

Elijah: Imply exactly that UltraX is probably gonna make sure Makima is dead for good.

Cursed Energy Devil: Exactly and that is why we got you. You will have to kill UltraX, then the chaos happens, Makima makes the contract, we defeat Nyan and the twin sister and then the devils must find a way to seal or weaken the Chainsaw man after we are done with the 15th of August. Sounds like a plan, right?
