Space made you nervous. Anything an happen and then you could die. The thought scared you. They're was one person that made you feel better and feel safe, that person was Leonard McCoy. He had been your boyfriend for three years, you had been in space for three years.

It was driving you mad. Being in space, on a spaceship, for three years, made you scared. Even though four of your friends, Kirk, Scotty, Chekov, and Spock, had assured you it was safe. You were still hazardous and jumped scared whenever the ship jolted. Staying in one place for three years, not including off shore missions, was stressful and claustrophobic.

"Hey, Y/N, are you okay?" You heard Leonard ask, trying to wake you from a trance.

"No, no I'm not." You reply, starting to rock back and forth on your heels. You and Leonard were in his quarters.

"What wrong?" He asked, standing up concerned.

"I hate this." You say. "Wait, no, I don't hate us together, just being on this ship. It's claustrophobic. I don't like it!"

"Calm down, it's okay." He said, grabbing your hand.

You jerked away. "Don't tell me to calm down. Don't tell a person having a panic attack to calm down, they won't calm down, Leonard I any calm down!"

You started pacing the room fast, muttering under your breath. You could barely breath, and you felt breathless.

"Y/N, stop. Look at me." Leonard said, putting his hand on your cheek, his other hand on your shoulder. "You'll be okay."

"No! I won't!" You scream, pulling away again. You started to run around the room. Leonard was shouting, but you could barely here. You only noticed him when he picked you up and threw you in the bed. He pinned your arms down and looked you in the face.

"Calm down. Stop, your okay." He said. You nod and burst out crying.

"Help me." You stutter still crying.

"Of course." Leonard replied, helping you sit up. He hugged you tight, muttering 'you'll be okay.'

"Thank you." You say, wiping your eyes.

"No problem. Your my girlfriend and I want you to be comfortable. Tomorrow, lets talk to Jim. Maybe he can give you, and possibly me, a shore leave for a couple months. It will give you time to clear your head and get comfortable again. Okay?" Leonard said, rubbing your arm.

"Okay. I just want to sleep for now." You mumble, laying down. Leonard laid next to you, and stayed by your side until you were given a shore leave for a month.
