Rick, Hershel, and Daryl had left to go negotiate with the Governor for a possible truce. I'm not very confident in the whole thing but Rick thinks it's our best shot.

The rest of us are staying back, making sure none of the Governor's people sneaks up on us.

I'm sitting on one of the bleachers outside, I'd found the bracelet that I was making back at the farm with Alyssa's favorite colors so I'm working on it as I've got nothing better to do.

I skillfully weave the shades of purple, green, and brown into an arrowhead design. "Adrian!" Alyssa calls from the door. I break my focus away from the bracelet and turn my head towards her, "What's up?"

"We're preparing the new guns, c'mon!" She says, backing into the prison.

Rick, Carl, and Michonne had gone on a run yesterday for some extra guns, ammo, food, and other supplies. They came back with a hefty amount of guns and ammo.

"'Ight!" I call, hopping off the bleachers and shoving the bracelet into the back pocket of my black ripped jeans.

I walk into the lounge area as Glenn is walking away and Merle begins running his mouth. "What we should be doing is loading all of this fire power into a truck and paying the Governor a visit. We know where he is right now."

"Are you suggesting that we just go in and kill him?" Glenn sasses, turning to Merle. I silently walk behind Glenn, trying not to draw attention to myself.

"Yeah, I am." Merle admits. "We told Rick and Daryl that we'd stay put." Michonne says, turning her head but not her body towards Merle.

"I've changed my mind sweetheart." Merle rolls his eyes. "Bein' on the sideline with my brother out there," Merle frowns and shakes his head. "Ain't sittin' right with me." "The three of them are right in the middle of it. No idea we're coming. They could get taken hostage or killed. A thousand things could go wrong." Glenn mentions, beginning to walk away again.

"And they will." Merle replies. Carl begins walking with Glenn, "My dad can take car of himself." He retorts. "Sorry son, but your dad's head could be on a pike real soon."

"Merle would you just shut the fuck up?" I quickly turn to Merle. "Like, genuinely. Shut the fuck up." Merle puts his hands up in mock surrender. "Just speakin' facts lil' lady." "Ew." I groan.

Glenn inhales sharply, "It's not the right move. Not now. Can't take the risk of putting them in the crossfire. That's my decision. It's final." He says, storming off.

"Mic. Drop." I whisper to Alyssa. She giggles as she's reloading a pistol.

"Adrian, c'mere." Damien waves me over to the cell block. I set the shotgun I was reloading down and walk over to him.

He has a smile plastered on his face; he's obviously trying to hold in a giggle.

"Jesus dude, who did you fuck?" I smirk, crossing my arms. "Oh, I wish. No, I heard Daryl the other day talking to Carol, after you left his cell!" "And you waited until now to tell me? What'd he say?!" I can't help but feel excited and intrigued as Damien takes a second to answer me, "for dramatic effect" he likes to say.

"He was you know...Daryl so he was pretty vague, but Carol is...Carol so she pried a little out of him! Wanna know what he said? Of course you do, so!" Damien grabs my wrist and drags me into his cell.

"Daryl vaguely admitted to Carol about having feelings for you since you joined the gang. Maybe not feelings but he thought you were hot. He said that even after Nick, he knew you weren't ready to date and you were definitely traumatized from Nick, so he decided not to say anything." Damien's voice is excited, his words are moving so fast I can barely keep up.
