Minireena's are tiny animatronics who are assistants to Ballora. Ballora is like a teacher, and they are like her students. They have a face similar to the Marionette. There are many of them and they are very small, small enough to even crawl inside of a human. Minireena's were revealed in a teaser for the game, showing "Get back on your stage NOW" with the control panel, and if the image is brighten, four Minireena's stand on the stage, it is likely the image is speaking to Ballora. Back then, many assumed these were four Ballora's.

On Night 1, Minireena's appears dancing with Ballora when you check her stage, and on Night 3, they are taking Ballora appart. On Night 4, it is Minireena night. Baby has kidnapped you and put you in a springlock suit, all you have to do is survive 3 minutes winding up the spring locks, while also making sure the Minireena's don't climb up you and kill you. It is a very difficult night and some argue it's the hardest night in the entire franchise. If you wiggle the Minireena's off too much, the spring locks become loose, which then causes her to kill you. The springlocks will get unwound faster as the night progresses, but that's good because it lets you know you're almost done. In the custom night, there are two types of Minireena's. One pair of Minireena's will drain your oxygen, so you have to go the camera they're in, and shock them to evaporate them. The second type will be Minireena's who get up in your face. There will be five in total and they appear one by one and laugh as their heads move, blocking your view. Sometimes Minireena will appear in the control module standing there, and other times, they will appear in your house.

Minireena is not on the character select screen, and is instead apart of DeeDee's Roster. When summoned, they will appear in your face like in Sister Location and laugh, but they are png and very blurry.
