Chapter 21: House

Emma is 5 months pregnant and Rose is 4 months pregnant. Today, Killian, Emma and Henry are moving in to their new house. The whole family helped them pack boxes of their old stuff. Granted they didn't have much since Emma isn't sentimental and most of Killian's belongings burned down in an apartment fire. So Anna and Rose have been helping Emma buy furniture for the new house. Killian picked out all of the kitchen counters and appliances since he knew exactly what he wanted. Henry picked out a bed and other furniture in his room. He also picked a paint color. None of the house had been painted yet. The family is going to help paint it to save some money. Emma picked out the master bedroom furniture which included a gorgeous queen bed with a mahogany bed board. Anna and Rose pretty much decorated the living room with a subtle sea theme. They bought a gorgeous light brown couch which will match nicely with blueish green wall color they have chosen. They had the basement finished. There is an empty room and bathroom downstairs. Next to that is a laundry room. Then there is an open carpeted space which just has some boxes in it right now. They spend most of the morning moving everything inside. They unpack the kitchen dishes and silverware. Emma is absolutely exhausted, she is pretty big since she's carrying twins so she lays down in their new bed. After the family helps to unpack most of their things they leave to go to lunch at the bar. Killian and Henry stay in their new home and wait for Emma to wake up. They are both in Henry's new room upstairs.

"So Killian are the twins going to have the two rooms across from mine."

"Yes that's what I'm thinking. But we won't know if they're both girls or boys yet"

"Well doesn't my mom want to know"

"Yes she does, that's one argument we're still having"

"Have you even though of names yet"

"Your mom isn't really focused on that yet."

"Well I have some ideas."

"Oh you do"

"Yes well for a boy how about naming him after my father"

"What lad?"

"Do you think that will work? I want to know my dads name but my mom won't tell me. She doesn't want me to find him"

"Lad that man hurt your mother so bad. He permanently scared her, she won't name a child after him"

"I know that, I just want his name........Do you know it"

"No I'm sorry lad. I'll try to talk to her though"

"Thanks but I don't want to hear you guys argue again"

"Henry don't worry about that. Your mom is just really emotional with this pregnancy okay. You don't have to worry about us arguing"

"Alright.......I guess I won't worry. I just want to be in a happy family"

"I know lad. How about after our ultrasound appointment we can plan the nursery. That will make your mom very happy then maybe she'll answer your question"

"That sounds good!"

"Alright you can stay here and finish cleaning up your room while we are at the appointment"

Killian walks into their bedroom and sees Emma asleep. Her hair is in her face and her shirt is rolled up revealing her pregnant belly. Killian smiles at her beauty, he believes she looks more beautiful every day. He lightly shakes her awake and brushes her hair out of her face.

"Emma dearest, it's time to get up"

She groans and pulls the covers over her head

"No! I just fell asleep."
