Chapter 50: Surprise

Emma and Killian wake up at 6am to a phone ringing. Killian looks at the beside table and sees that Rose is calling him. He picks up

"Rose?"

"Killian is Liam there?"

"No, it's 6 in the morning"

"He's gone Killian, I woke up early and he's gone. He isn't picking up my calls"

"He didn't tell you did he"

"Tell me what? Do you know something! Damn it Jones tell me!"

"He told me he was joining the Navy, he said he would tell you. I believed he would tell you"

"That son of a bitch. I thought he loved me"

"Rose he loves you despite his mistakes"

"He didn't even say goodbye, he may never come back!"

"He's my brother, he will come back"

"I'm sorry but I don't believe you. How am I supposed to explain this to the girls"

"Rose why don't you come over and we can talk"

"No I have to work today and I have to bring the kids to school. Just tell your dick of a brother to never come near me or my children again"

Rose hangs up and Killian lays back in bed. He wraps his arms around Emma who smiles sadly at him.

"What did she say"

"He never told her, he abandoned them"

"Killian I'm sure he had his reasons"

"He was afraid Emma. He's never made a mistake in his life, now he makes a big one and doesn't know what to do. He says he needs to find himself"

"If only he knew that the people you love can help you..............You helped me"

"As did you"

"How is Rose?"

"I think she needs some time to cool off before we talk with her"

"Are we still on for today"

"Yes the surprise should go according to plan"

They sleep for another hour and they get up. It's Sunday so they were able to sleep in. Killian makes breakfast for everyone and Emma wakes up Henry

"Kid you have a dentist appointment we have to go"

"Ugh on a Sunday Mom?"

"Yes, come on"

Emma and Henry get in the car and drive. Emma drives 10 minutes away from the house then turns around.

"Mom where are we going, I'm pretty sure this isn't the way to the dentist"

"We are going the right way"

Emma continues to drive, she passes their house

"Mom what are you doing we just passed our house"

"I'm just driving Henry"

"Where are you taking me"

"You'll see"

"You're kind of scaring me Mom"

"Henry I'm not trying to scare you. It's just your father and I have been focused on the baby, the little ones and Grace. We wanted to do something for you"

Emma pulls up to the docks and they get out of the car. Emma leads Henry onto the docks. They approach a big boat. Killian, Grace and the kids are on it.
