Killian and Emma have been parents for a month now. They are living in a crazy sleep deprived haze. Emma pumps milk so that Killian can help with feedings. They take turns changing diapers and warming bottles. They sleep every moment that they can but they don't get enough sleep. Henry is the one making sure that they eat themselves. Occasionally Anna and Callum come over to make them meals and give them a small break, but with two babies it's hard. Emma wakes up at 8:00am after they fell asleep around 2am. Emma sits up and shakes Killian.
"Killian!"
"What's wrong love"
"The babies aren't in their cribs, they should've woken up 2 hours ago!"
They get out of bed quickly
"I'll check downstairs you check on Henry" Killian says
Emma rushes into Henry's room and finds him packing his backpack.
"Hey mom I'm on my way to school"
Killian yells up the stairs
"Emma it's okay come down"
"Alright kid come on, you're going to miss your bus" Emma says and hug him quickly. They go downstairs, Henry runs out the door to his bus stop.
Emma goes into the living room and sees Anna and Callum each holding a twin.
"Hello Emma, sleep well?" Callum asks
"Well I was terrified when I woke up, but now I'm happy, and very grateful"
"Sorry darling, we wanted to surprise you" Anna says
Killian yells from the kitchen
"Come in here love"
Emma walks into the kitchen and sees Killian sitting down with a plate of food.
"Our parents made us a plate of eggs and bacon with sliced fruit"
"Finally some good food"
Emma sits down next to Killian and they eat breakfast. Killian kisses her cheek in between bites
"This is nice Killian"
"Yes it is love, I miss these quiet moments"
"Once they get a bit older it will be better babe"
"I know, they are so cute though. I don't want them to get older"
"When are you planning on going back to work" Emma asks
"I was thinking next month, just doing some afternoon shifts. We need the money"
"Yes I know, I was hoping to do some cases soon"
"Really Swan, it's a bit dangerous what you do"
"Killian I know, but I won't do any big cases just some small stuff. Like you said we need the money"
"Alright we can work it out love"
Then Callum comes running in the kitchen.
"Liam just called, Rose is in labor! Emma can you watch Becca, Liam said it could be some time"
"Yes of course"
Liam calls Killian and says he wants him there too. So Anna and Callum drive to the hospital pick up Becca and bring her back to Emma. Killian drives to the hospital to be with Liam, leaving Emma alone with a four year old and two infants.
"Auntie Em!"
"Hi Becca, are you excited to get a brother or sister"
"I guess so"
