Chapter 46: Will

Yesterday was Christmas. Killian's whole family came over along with Emma's parents. Killian got to reunite with Liam and things went well. They are currently working on selling the bar. Grace is staying with them right now. Emma and Killian didn't tell their families what happened because they wanted her to have a semi normal Christmas. It actually worked, Grace seemed to have some fun, she loves to play around with the kids. Today the kids wake up and go downstairs to play with their new toys. Killian gets up and makes breakfast for everyone, Grace comes into the kitchen

"Morning Grace, any preference on breakfast" Killian asks

"No I'm fine with whatever, do you need any help"

"You want to help?"

"Is that okay?"

"That would be brilliant, no one has ever asked before. Emma has tried to help but after a couple times I stopped asking for her help, she is hopeless in the kitchen. Henry has never taken any interest"

"Well I think it's interesting, who doesn't love food. What do you need me to do"

"Well I'm going to make scrambled eggs, bacon, and cut up some fruit. Why don't you crack some eggs into the bowl on the counter for me"

Grace and Killian work to prepare breakfast while Emma is in the living room with the kids. Elizabeth is happy in her mothers arms but wants to be moving constantly. So Emma is pacing around the room bouncing Ellie in her arms

"Mommy is Grace living with us" Ava asks

"Right now she is" Emma says

"Why?" Ava asks

"I'll explain later sweetheart okay"

"That means you won't tell me" Ava says

"I promise one day I will tell you, just not today" Emma says

Liam and James take their new toy cars and run them around the room. Ava opens a new book and sits down to read. Emma still can't believe that her 3 year old loves to read unlike her other toddlers. Once Killian and Grace finish making breakfast, the whole family sits down to eat. Killian takes Ellie and feeds her a bottle. After breakfast Emma's cellphone rings

"Hello?"

"Hi is this Mrs. Emma Jones"

"Yes, who am I speaking to"

"I'm John Shepard I work at the court house. You are currently housing Grace Hatter correct?"

"Yes I am"

"We would like to come by now and talk to you about Jeff Hatter's will"

"Oh okay, now?"

"Yes this needs to be taken care of quickly. I'll see you in an hour"

Emma walks back into the kitchen and pulls Killian aside

"Someone is coming by soon to talk about Jeffs will"

"Alright love don't worry, it will be fine"

"I know it's just Grace seems so happy, I don't want her to feel anymore depressed"

"She can't just forget what happened Emma"
