Killian went to New York to compete in the Food Network star competition, to win a Food Network show. Emma and the kids are doing fine at home. The twins have been in the hospital for 5 weeks. Today she gets to bring them home, Killian is still in New York. Callum and Anna are at home with Grace and the kids. David and Mary Margret come to the hospital to help Emma take the twins home.
"They look so much better Emma" Mary Margret says
"The doctor says they are completely healthy. Just slightly under weight but that can be solved easily"
"Let's take them home come on" David says
Emma buckles the twins in their car seats and sits in the back between them, David drives them home. Emma carries both the car seats inside and the kids greet her. They made welcome home pictures for the twins just like they did when Ellie came home from the hospital. Emma comes in and Grace has prepared a wonderful lunch for everyone. They all sit at the table together and eat.
"So Emma, Callum and I have finished their nursery" David says
"We did a good job if I may say so myself" Callum says
"Excuse me lads but Mary Margret and I decorated it" Anna says
"Yes it looks wonderfully blue and green" Mary Margret says
"I made sure they used the old cribs and furniture" Grace says
"Thank you Grace" Emma says
"Mommy can we play with the babies" Ellie asks
"They are still too little honey, we can play peek a boo with them"
"I want to play pirates with my brothers!" James says
"They are just babies they don't know what pirates are" Ava says
"Can we play soccer Papa and Grandpa" James asks
"Okay kids let's go!" Callum says
Ava, Liam, and James run outside to play. Anna and Mary Margret each hold a twin. Ellie sits on Emma's lap and plays with her hair
"Oh gosh these little ones are adorable" Anna says
"I'm adorable too Nana" Ellie says
"Somebody is jealous" Grace says
"Ellie, you are my little girl. They are the little boys. Don't be jealous" Emma says and kisses her head
"I miss daddy" Ellie says
"I know honey, he will be coming home next week" Emma says
"Is he doing well in the competition" Mary Margret asks
"He is in the final three" Emma says
"My boy will definitely win" Anna says
"I agree, he will win" Grace says
"So Emma, who do you want to stay over tonight" Anna asks
"I'm fine by myself for tonight."
"Emma you have 6 little kids here" Mary Margret says
"They are my kids, I can take care of them" Emma replies
"Killian would want someone here with you"
Anna says
"I know that I will need help later, but I want to do it myself tonight. Just me and my kids"
"Alright but we will take the kids to school tomorrow okay" Mary Margret says
After dinner the grandparents leave. The babies are asleep in the bassinets in the living room, Grace is watching them. Emma is upstairs giving Ellie and James a bath. Ava and Liam are old enough to shower.
