James is 11 months, the twins are 2 and Henry is 13. Emma and Killian have decided to take the kids to the Ice Show at the Gaylord Hotel in Washington DC. The Ice show is like an ice museum full of amazingly carved ice sculptures. It is kept at 9 degrees Fahrenheit, you wear giant parkas and many layers of clothes. Every year they have a different theme, this year it's frosty the snowman. The Gaylord hotel has a giant lobby. You can book rooms that have a view to the lobby. Inside the lobby during Christmas, there is a tree and lights. Every night they have a light show that you can watch from your balcony or inside the lobby. They even make fake snow fall. This is a view from Emma and Killian's room.

They left early in the morning and drove to the Gaylord Hotel. They arrive around lunch time and enter the hotel.
"Wow mom this is beautiful" Henry says
"Look at the tree!" Liam says
"Can we see the tree from our room" Ava asks
"Yes we can, come on" Killian says
They check in the hotel and go up to their room. The kids get to ride in a glass elevator.
"Whoa!! This is awesome!" Henry says
Liam clutches onto his mommy's leg
"We gonna fall mama" Liam says
"No honey we're fine" Emma says
She picks up Liam while Killian has James in the Bjorne. Ava stands against the glass
"This is so cool! We're flying!!" Ava says
"My little dare devil" Killian says
They arrive at the 10th floor and go to their room. Henry runs down the hallway with the room key. Ava and Liam trot along behind him. Henry opens the door and they enter. The room has two queens, they will get a roll away bed also. It was too expensive to rent another adjoining room. They will also set up a portable crib for James. The kids immediately open the door to the balcony that faces inside the lobby. Killian quickly follows them out there
"Careful kids this railing has some pretty big spaces between the bars. Henry don't lean over please" Killian says
"We are being careful dad" Henry says
"Okay kids come in. We have an hour before the Ice show starts." Emma says
The kids watch Disney channel while Emma and Killian unpack
"Emma darling you brought our entire household in these bags" Killian says
"Yes I know, but it's 9 degrees in there. We need to keep them all warm"
"Is this really supposed to be fun. Walking through ice"
"Killian it's really cool. I got to go once when I was a kid. It was the only family vacation I ever went on. You get to touch all the ice sculptures and this year the theme is frosty the snowman"
