Longer Chapter this week because I am posting late again, sorry guys. The next chapter should be posted during my usual posting time (Between Friday night and Saturday morning).

Remus' POV

I wake up later in the afternoon with Mack curled up asleep on my chest. I look down at her peaceful face and run my fingers through my hair.

"I'm so glad I found you," I whisper lowly to not wake her up.

I slowly run my fingers through her hair and watch as her hair fades through different shades at my touch. A few minutes later, she takes a deep breath and rolls off me to lay on her other side. I lean over and look at her face intently to figure out if she woke up or is still asleep. She doesn't move again so I guess she's a sleep. I pull back the pale pink comforter and step onto the soft carpeting. I head towards the door to go to the bathroom when I stop in my tracks. Sitting on the white trunk at the foot of her bed is my clothes I wore to the Shrieking Shack and my wand. Confused, I pick up my clothing and watch as a piece of parchment floats to the ground.

Remus,

You gave us all quite a scare this morning when the nurse did not find you in the Shrieking Shack. The door in the basement was open so we knew you had left the Shack but didn't know where you went. Luckily, we gathered Mr. Potter, Mr. Black, Mr. Pettigrew and Miss Evans and questioned them about your whereabouts and if they had seen you. They did not know anything but Lily mentioned that your wolf form may have been searching for Mackenzie. After this information was given we came directly here and found you and Mackenzie sound asleep. We brought you some clothes and your wand because we figured you may stay here for a day or two before coming back to Hogwarts with Mackenzie. You both are required to be back in school for classes on Monday March 6th.

Sincerely,

Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall

I pick up my clothes and walk out of Mack's room. I quickly make my way down to the bathroom and as soon as I am safely shut into the bathroom I groan loudly.

"Great," I mutter to myself. I hastily turn on the faucet and splash water on my face. "Now they know that I'm here and they saw us sleeping together and... Ugh, this is so embarrassing."

I look up into the mirror and see my face is bright red. Thank god I'm not like Mackenzie or my hair would be blood red. I run my hands under the water again and scrub my face some more. I dig through the drawers in the cabinet until I find a spare toothbrush and some spearmint toothpaste. Once I feel like I have washed all of my embarrassment away, I get changed into the clothes they brought and head back to Mackenzie's room.

I silently tread back to Mack's room and find her sound asleep still laying in the center of the big bed. I place the clothes I slept in down on her trunk and pick up my wand. I turn out of her room and head down the stairs to explore some of the house and hopefully find some food. After I shift back from being a werewolf I am always disoriented, at least slightly, and it causes me to not remember everything clearly. So, I made a major mistake for coming downstairs, I don't remember what room is where even though she walked me through here not too many hours ago.

Taking a guess, I walk into the room directly to the left of the stairs and find a large living room filled with comfortable couches and armchairs so I turn around and head in the opposite direction. The next room I stumble upon has a desk in it and a few small bookcases. I shrug, it must be Professor McGonagall's home office. I walk into the office and see a set of glass double doors that are covered by a set of maroon drapes. I reach out and grasp the door handles and push the door open, praying that the doors don't squeak.
