Mid-Book Summary

Hey guys! So I just turned 21 yesterday! Yay!

So it was suggested that I make a summary of everything that has happened so far in the book which is brilliant because let's face it. I started this book in 2016. I don't even remember what I've written about. So let's jump into it!

Mackenzie Grace McGonagall Dumbledore joins Hogwarts in 6th year. She immediately becomes friends with the Marauders and feels like she already knows them because as it's later revealed she does! When she was little she was babysat by Mrs. Potter so she grew up with James. She takes a liking to Remus and those two become closer than she is with the rest of them.

Jumping further, there's Quidditch trials and she joins the team as seeker right before a duel with Slytherin that ends up with Marlene in the hospital wing- that's when she learns of the Lily/James/Snape issue. Remus kisses her forehead when they sneak out to Honeydukes and she loses control and that's when they realize she's a metamorphagus as well as her soulmate is a werewolf. She then helps the Marauders how to become animagus and the boys all can shift by Christmas. Remus kisses Mack at the Yule ball and then right when break starts there is a full moon and she's attacked by Remus while she is in her wolf animagus form. Being another wolf triggered Remus into thinking she was a threat hence causing the attack until he saw her eyes and realized it was her.

Then comes Valentine's Day and on a Hogsmeade trip right before Mackenzie learns she's a Dumbledore from Uncle Aberforth.  Then on actual Valentine's Day James and Lily figure out they are soulmates(without telling each other they know) and Remus and Mack learn they're soulmates. And obviously chaos explodes because Remus is a sweetheart who would want to learn he's basically tortured every full moon with the transformation then being locked away so he ends up scratching himself.  Mack runs away(moronic thing to do really but 🤷‍♀️, she just learned about her father and soulmate just days apart so I guess that's a fair enough reaction) and on the full moon Remus' wolf tracks her down to her moms house. They make up and return to Hogwarts all happy.

While Mack is gone, James parents end up in St Mungos and Lily, Sirius, James go to the hospital where Mrs. Potter realizes Lily knows about the soulmate thing. She urges Lily to tell James because James genuinely has always cared about Lily but when Lily goes to tell she's hit by Snapes homemade curse. It was supposed to hit James, not that it could be proved to the professors. So Lily is released from the Hospital Wing hours apart from Mackenzie coming back to Hogwarts. The rest of the semester flows smoothly until Sirius decides to actually show Marlene he cares about her.

Which ends up in an attack at her house with her "dead". Sirius is crushed and Mackenzie makes Marlene swear to not tell anyone she's alive, for now. Mackenzie and Minerva help Marlene learn how to become an animagus.

Mrs. Potter learns that they are all animagus and yells at them.  And then tells them James and Mack grew up together which Mackenzie doesn't remember. Being attacked when she was 4 (2 weeks ish before her 5th birthday) was so traumatic her brain suppressed most memories from childhood. And Lily and James finally admit soulmates but decide to just stay friends at first to learn more about each other.

Petunia is getting married and Lily is not invited. Snape finds out and then Voldemort finds out.

Mackenzie uses a pensive to look through her memories to try and remember growing up with James. Then she decides to show Remus, Sirius, and James what she found out.

Okay so I think that's the jist. If I missed something please comment and tell me so I can add it into this summary!

Also if something is inconsistent, PLEASE COMMENT and let me know. You guys are reading this from the beginning more than me. Please tell me so I can go in and fix what I wrote so it makes sense. If you don't tell me, I won't realize it.

This book is for you all so if there's something you want to see or someones POV you want please tell me! I'll figure out a way to toss it into the book.

We aren't even close to the end guys. I might be slow sometimes updating but no matter how long in between updates, this story has a lot more chapters and even bigger reveals!
