Chapter 23: First Dates and long Stories

The next day I woke and Ash had cooked breakfast. I threw on some sweatpants and they took me home. I gave them a hug and thanked them for letting me stay and taking my mind off the stress of the morning. I don’t know what I would do without them. I walked in the house and seen Luke and my little loves dancing around in the living room. When they noticed me I got a warm welcome. “Allie” “Hey my little loves.” I bent down and gave them both a hug and kiss “Where’d you go?” Maddie asked “I was with Ash and BK.” “Oh ok.” She said and Luke walked in. “Hey Luke” “Hey baby girl.” “So where’s Cammie?” “Oh she went to the store real quick.” “Oh Ok” I said going to take a seat on the couch. Then I heard it “Daddy can I have juice Please?” Maddie said. I couldn’t help but smile. Luke came in. “What are you smiling about.” “She called you daddy. It was so cute. I love that.” “Yeah we told her yesterday after you left and as soon as we told her about the adoption she said does that mean you will be my new mommy and daddy and when we said yes she started calling us that.” “She’s so precious. That makes me happy.” “It makes us happy too. So you ready for your first official date with Eli?” “Yes but I’m nervous.” “Why?” “I don’t know. I just am maybe because there isn’t anyone around to fall back on if it get boring or awkward.” “It won’t you guys ignore us anyway when we are around.” I laughed and Cam walked in the door with bags it looked like she went shopping. “Whatcha got there Cam?” I said getting up and walking over. “Oh ya know just something for your date tonight.” I was surprised “I was just gonna wear jeans and boots.” “We know that’s why Eli called and I knew you didn’t have anything.” “Am I missing something, what are we doing?” “Well I don’t really know he just wants you to wear a dress and look nice.” “A dress really?” “Yes really and I found a couple pretty ones that I think you will love.” “I’m still wearing boots.” “Yeah we wouldn’t expect anything else.” Luke said from the couch and we laughed. We spent most of the day packing and the movers were coming to get everything so we would be basically sleeping in sleeping bags tonight so they can have our beds set up tomorrow when we get to the farm. At about 4 I go and take a shower and I come out and Cam helps me pick out a dress. We decided to go with the one that is white on top and it buttons up in the front and has like a collar then in the back has a cut out in the back. The bottom is light blue and it flares out and hits a little above the knee. It is tied together with a white belt with a light blue accents. It was really pretty. I sat down and Cam did my makeup and hair. Luke came in and took a picture and posted it with the caption [@CamilleBryan helping our baby girl @AllieMarie get ready for her first official date @EliMichaelMusic #Imnotready #shotgunloaded.]  He got a lot of responses and most of them were just LOL and that I looked pretty. Some of the comments told him to calm down and that they would hate to be the unlucky guy. When I saw that I couldn’t help but laugh and I showed Cam. “He’s crazy Cam.”  “I know I’ve been married to him for a while.” “Luke stop being so crazy. You scare Elijah enough. Did you really have to tag him?” I yelled to him not knowing he was right outside the door.  “It was a joke Allie. I’ll keep the guns locked up.” “I hope you get rid of all your crazy before Maddie at her dating age.” “Can’t make any promises.” We all laughed. “All done sweetie” I looked in the mirror. “Oh Cam it looks beautiful.” She did my make up with a light blue shadow and mascara and some other crap that looked really nice. Then she twisted the front of my hair and put it into a half up half down pony tail thing. Then she curled it. By the time we were done it was almost 530 and Elijah said he would be here around 530 so we went down stairs. I went on twitter and posted a selfie [Waiting on @EliMichaelMusic wish I knew what we were doing but even though everyone knows I hate surprises they insist on surprising me. #excited #myheart] A little while later Elijah pulled up. He came in wearing Jeans and black button up under a jacket and of course boots.  “Lookin good Georgia Boy.” “Wow Allie you look gorgeous.” He said giving me a kiss and a hug. He had flowers. “These are for you Cam since this girl doesn’t like flowers.” I laughed “Thank you Eli.” “You’re welcome.” “Now you guys be back by midnight.” “Yes sir” Elijah said I just shock my head and gave Luke and Cam a hug and kiss and we were off.
