You, Mario and Meggy got back to training for the upcoming Splatfest, Meggy had made the training harder from when Desti had made her jealous back in the events of "If Mario was in Splatoon 2."
Mario: Crap, I'm cornered...
Meggy ran around the corner and fired at Mario, but he managed to dodge the ink.
Mario: Nope! Wrong!
Meggy: Wow, your reflexes have improved, Mario!
Mario: Meggy, look behind you.
Meggy: Hmm?
(Y/N): Take this!
You fired your Splattershot, as Meggy dodged and your shot hit Mario instead, sending him flying at the wall.
(Y/N): Oops!
Meggy: Hi, there.
(Y/N): *Gulp* Uh oh.
Meggy was behind you, with her Splattershot pointed at the back of your head.
(Y/N): Oh, shoot.
She shot you, sending you crashing into a wall.
Mario: Bombs? You want it?
Mario sent out a ton of Splat Bombs, Meggy turned into her squid form, and escaped.
Mario: Dang it!
Meggy: Hi, Red!
Mario: Uh oh.
(Y/N): Nope!
You fired at Meggy, she wasn't fast enough, and your shots hit her in the back of the head.
Mario: Nice shot!
Meggy: Impressive, you caught me off guard.
(Y/N): Impressive? Wow...T-thanks.
???: Well, look who it is.
Mario: Huh?
It was Meggy's rival, Desti the Octoling.
Meggy: Oh, great.
(Y/N): And who is this?
Meggy: She's my rival, her name's Desti.
Mario was holding a sign of Desti's face, below it, it said "Octorok." Desti didn't like that, and shot Mario with her Splattershot.
Meggy: Seriously?! Again?!
Desti: What? He's making fun of me.
Meggy: And he has the right, you shot him the last time we met.
Desti: Who's this newbie?
Meggy: Huh?
Desti pointed at you.
(Y/N): What'd you call me?
Meggy: Oh, this is another friend of mine, his name is (Y/N)!
Desti: Doesn't look like much. For all I know, he's as worthless and dumb as Mayro.
You charged at Desti.
(Y/N): Oh, hell no!
Meggy: (Y/N)! Don't!
You fired at Desti with your Splattershot, she dodged the ink and fired at you, resulting in you being launched at a wall.
(Y/N): OW!
Meggy: Alright, that's it!
Desti: Bring it!
Meggy started firing at Desti, as the Octoling got behind a wall.
