You were in the kitchen making a drink, then meggy came in, she seemed to be shaken up.
(Y/N): Meggy? What's the matter?
Meggy: Kenji and sam have been kidnapped!
You hated hearing those names, but meggy looked serious.
(Y/N): Those two? Do you know who they were kidnapped by?
Meggy: I have no idea.
(Y/N): Alright, let's head over to inkopolis and investigate.
You and meggy ran into the basement and jumped into the pipe which led to inkopolis, you arrived and saw off the hook talking about the kidnappings.
Meggy: Well, looks like it became inkopolis's biggest news. Wonder if it's DJ Octavio?
Inkling: No, it's not, Octavio is still trapped in his snow globe.
(Y/N): Well, what could it be?
Suddenly pearl screamed on the massive TV.
Pearl: Whoa! Hold it right there, marina!
Marina: What is it, pearl?
Pearl: We apparently just got a CCTV recording about the kidnapping!
Marina: Play it then, let's see!
The CCTV recording popped up on the screen, and sure enough, the camera had recorded a very suspicious looking person dragging two inklings away.
Marina: Wait, play that back!
The CCTV recording rewinded, and marina's eyes had caught something.
Pearl: What'd you find?
Marina: That person has octoling hair!
Pearl: Really?! Was it you, marina?
Marina: W-what? No!
Pearl: I'm just squiddin' with ya, marina.
Marina: So, the person is an octoling, but we couldn't confirm the identity because the octoling was wearing a hood.
Meggy: I've cracked this case, it's desti.
(Y/N): -Sigh- She's back at it again, causing trouble.
Pearl: And that's all the time we got! Until next time...
Pearl & Marina: Don't get cooked, stay off the hook!
The TV turned off, and a lot of inklings nearby began talking.
Meggy: Well, let's go find desti!
You and meggy ran towards the training grounds, you couldn't see desti anywhere, then meggy pointed at something.
(Y/N): What is it?
Meggy: Over there!
Meggy pointed at a few octolings nearby, then desti came out from behind a wall and started talking to them.
Desti: Alright, you three got those boys ready? SMG3 needs them.
Octolings: Yes!
Meggy: Aha! So she did kidnap them!
(Y/N): SMG3 needs them? But why?
A small airship flew above the octolings and slowly descended, the door opened and SMG3 came out.
Desti: Hey there, SMG3.
SMG3: So, you got them?
Desti: Yes, here they are!
