After infinite passed out, two figures appeared over him.

Saiko: Look who it is.

Fishy: Looks like he just passed out, what should we do?

Saiko: I say we kill him. He brought so much misery.

Fishy: I think we can forgive him!

Saiko: HUH? Why fishy kun?

Fishy: I know what he did was wrong, but look at him. He's hurt and he isn't gonna survive out here.

Saiko: Ok fishy kun. Only for you.

Saiko put her hammer away, and grabbed infinite.

Saiko: But we are taking him back to the castle for interrogation. 

Saiko and fishy arrived at the castle a few minutes later, fishy knocked on the door.

SMG4: Hey guys, whats up- HOLY SHIT!

SMG4 saw infinite in saiko's arms.

SMG4: I thought...i thought he was dead!

Saiko: Nope. However, we're treating his wounds, then we'll interrogate him and ask why he did this.

SMG4: -Sigh- Take him to francis. I'll call everyone.

Saiko went to Francis's room.

Francis: Sup saiko-

Saiko: Don't get freaked out.

Francis: Let me guess. You want me to heal him?

Saiko: Ummm...yeah?

Francis: Fine.

Francis took infinite from saiko, and started to heal him.

Francis: The spot where the phantom ruby was is gonna turn into a scar for sure. Everything else i can heal properly.

Saiko: I guess it's the waiting game now.

After a few minutes, infinite was fully healed up, but francis took him downstairs and tied him to a chair.

Knock knock.

SMG4: Looks like they're here. I'll let them in.

SMG4 opened the door.

(Y/N): What did you call us over for?

SMG4 pointed to infinite.

You gasped. How...was he alive? You had kicked him into his own attack! That surely would of burnt him to a crisp!

(Y/N): But...how is that possible?

Meggy: I want to ask the same too.

Infinite woke up.

Infinite: Ugh...where am i?

Saiko: GUYS! HE'S WOKEN UP!

Everyone rushed over to him.

Infinite: I'm tied up? And my wounds are healed?

Infinite looked up to see a high amount of serious faces.

Infinite: Oh great. It's you freaks.

SMG4: So then, why'd you do it?

Infinite: -Sigh- I guess i better start explaining. 

-One year and a half ago...-

Eggman: So...your squad was killed? And you want to become stronger?

Infinite: -Sniff- Yes...i want to send that bastard to hell! I NEED STRENGTH!

Eggman: Fine by me. But on one occasion. You work with me and together, we'll conquer the world!

Infinite: Yes...the world needs to feel...what i have felt...

Eggman: Take these.

Eggman handed infinite a mask and a gem.

Infinite: This day, i'll give up my unsightly face.

Infinite put the mask on.

Infinite: It fits well.

Infinite attached the gem to his chest, and then felt an amazing surge of power go through his body.

Infinite: Yes...with this power...i am unstoppable..i am bloodthirsty...i am...REBORN!

Infinite activated the phantom ruby.

Eggman: YES! Just as i calculated! Soon enough infinite, you'll have your revenge...

Infinite: Yes...i will. We will conquer this world...

(Present day)

(Y/N): Wow...all that, only for revenge?

Infinite: No one knows what i have been through! The pain...the suffering...you should of left me to die... -Crying-

Meggy: I feel bad for him...throughout this year, he only wanted revenge on one person, but all that power must of made him go mad.

SMG4: Group, quick chat?

The SMG4 crew went into a circle, and started to whisper.

SMG4: Ok infinite...we forgive you.

Infinite: W-what?

Tari: We forgive you for what you have done.

Infinite: What i have done is unforgivable...

SMG4: Someone take that mask off his face.

(Y/N): Got it.

You slowly approached the jackal, who was still in tears, you took off his mask to see a scarred eye, many small cuts, and one eye gone.

Infinite: My face...it's unsightly after all i have done...

(Y/N): Infinite, we all forgive you. Even i do. You don't need to be so sad anymore, the evil infinite the phantom ruby controlled is gone.

Infinite stopped crying.

Infinite: Then...your giving me a second chance?

SMG4: Yes.

Infinite: But...i have nowhere to go...

Peach: You can stay in the castle.

Infinite: Huh?

Saiko: You heard her.

Fishy cut the ropes holding infinite in place, when he suddenly hugged you.

Infinite: I thank you for giving me this second chance...i'll redeem myself completely.

(Y/N): I'm sure the ones who were close to you forgive you for making such a choice in the past.

Infinite: So...where is my room then?

Peach: It's upstairs, to the left.

Infinite: Well then...i guess this is my new home.

SMG4: Indeed. WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!

Meggy: I want to spend some time at the park with (Y/N), we haven't done much due to you know.

Infinite: Heh heh, sorry.

(Y/N): Alright then, let's go meggy.

You and meggy walked out of the castle. It was a happy ending for everyone, including infinite.

(Meanwhile...)

???: So...looks like the little jackal turned to the light. Such a waste.
