You walked into the room, francis was staring at what he just built.
(Y/N): The hell is that?
Francis: This, my friend, is a machine which allows you to visit other universes!
(Y/N): Other universes? Cool!
Francis: But i need a test subject...actually, i need two.
(Y/N): Count me in. I want to see another universe!
Francis: And who's gonna be the other-
Meggy: Me!
Francis: AH! The hell did you come from?
Meggy: I was here the entire time!
Francis: Ok...anyways, step on that platform over there.
You and meggy stepped onto the platform, francis started to press some buttons on the keyboard.
Francis: Alright, you'll be sent to another universe in three seconds.
Three seconds passed, and nothing happened.
Francis: Ummm...
(Y/N): Is it broken?
Francis: Oh, come on! I thought this would-
Suddenly there was a massive explosion, everything went white.
(Y/N): Gah, what happened?
You got up, you were in inkopolis, but most buildings were destroyed, and fire was everywhere.
Meggy: I-inkopolis?
Your phone began ringing, you answered it, francis was on the other end.
Francis: Holy shit! It worked!
(Y/N): We're in another universe?
Francis: Yup! However i sent you to a random universe, i have no idea where you guys are.
Meggy: Actually wait, how are you even calling us if we're in a different universe?
Francis: Uhhh...my phone can call people from other universes. (Can i have one of those phones?)
(Y/N): Ok...?
Meggy: And so, how are we supposed to get back?
Francis: Oh, that's easy! I-
Francis went silent.
(Y/N): Francis? You ok?
Francis: Oh shit...you guys might be stuck in that universe for a while...
Meggy: Why's that?
Francis: Because that explosion fucked up the machine, now i'm going to have to repair it...
(Y/N): How long will it take?
Francis: About an hour, stay safe. I'll call you back when it's fixed.
Meggy: Bye!
You put your phone away and looked around, inkopolis was in complete ruin.
Meggy: W-what happened to inkopolis?
(Y/N): I have no idea-
Suddenly an octoling's head went flying past meggy, then there was an explosion,
???: Yeah, don't mess with me!
