A/N: you're a marine and fall in love with Taylor

"I love you." Taylor smiles at you as you pulled away from kissing her. She looked up at you since you were standing and she was sitting on the couch. Life for you was great. Just great. You had your dream job, the bestest of friends who were more like family, they were also Marines, parents who loved you and a beautiful woman that you absolutely loved. And she loved you. Yes it was a bit hard since you were usually over seas and she was busy with her singing her career but somehow you two made it work.

You know what they say.

True love always finds a way.

And it did. Even if only a few people knew about your relationship with Taylor. It was alright. You didn't really mind. Taylor was loyal to you and she'd never think twice on cheating on you. Her first love that was actually in love with her because of her. Not because she's a big pop star. So with you always being gone most of the year. Face time calls mostly once a day and texts. That's what it was like dating a marine. Sometimes you'd get days off and be able to come home to Taylor once every three months. You'll be able to go home for two or three days. It wasn't much but Taylor would make the most of those days.

Taylor knew that you were on a mission right now. You couldn't tell her all the details or none to be clear. All you said was that you were going on a mission and it could be a week or so till the next call from you. It's been three days since the last time she spoke to you and she was worried. More than worried.

She never knew what to expect but every time you'd come back from a small mission you always had bruises and cuts on your face. She couldn't help but to feel concern for you. Fear that she'll get a phone call but only to say that you didn't make it.

She shook her head to get rid of that thought. She looked back at the tv trying to focus on the show.

But when her phone rang her heart beat stopped when she saw who was calling. Your team captain. Jeffrey.

"Jeffrey?" Her voice sounded so scared and barely above a whisper.

"Taylor-He let out what seemed to be a soft sob- it's Y/N. It's really bad."

At the sound of a phone dropping Taylor's mom turned to look at her and then at the phone that was on the floor. She asked her daughter what was wrong but the singer only cried.

Andrea and Jeffrey talked and with a heavy concern heart she hung up. Booking tickets to next flight to Texas.
