Lina wasn't asleep for more than an hour when she was hastily shaken awaken by Cedric.

"You wanted me asleep so let me sleep" She grumbled with one eye squinted at him.

"Eve-"

"Cedric, sleeping."

Cedric chuckled "Eve, it's over, Ginny's safe, the monster gone or something and there's a feast in the great hall."

Lina couldn't quite register everything that had just been said, Lina raised her head slightly "what?"

"Professor Sprout was back, she just said everything was over, Dumbledore was coming back and about the feast."

"Oi" Danny called leaning against the door, some of the girls jolted awake "can you hurry up and wake her so she can go get Lucy so we can eat!"

"I am so confused," Lina said.

"Just come on" Cedric looked at the other girls who were started to fall back asleep "great hall everyone, no need to change, the schools celebrating" he looked back at Lina grinning.

"Fine, But you're carrying me," Lina said holding her arms up.

"Deal."

Cedric pulled Lina up and she then jumped onto his back, she rested her head on the crock of Cedric's shoulder and ignored the smug look Danny was giving the two. After waking Lucy up, the four along with several other Hufflepuff's arrived at the great hall.

It was the strangest feast Lina had ever experienced, everyone was in their pyjamas, not one person had a sour expression, students were laughing, cheering and toasting the end of what had been a frightful year.

After an hour, the students that had been petrified joined, Lina saw Hermione running down to Harry and Ron yelling "you solved it! You solved it!" Lina herself jumped up and ran over to them.

"I am so proud of you three!" Lina cheered pulling all three of them into a tight hug "I can't believe you did this" they worried she was mad but the bright smile in her face said otherwise.

"Female Lee!" Lina looked away from the trio to the twins who were waving her over. She gave them another hug this time individually and met the twins.

"Come on," they said dragging her out the great hall.

"Where are you going?" Lina asked laughing slightly.

"The hospital wing," George said.

"You have to see Ginny" Fred added.

Inside the hospital Ginny was sat up talking to her parents, at the sight of Lina she froze, it drew the attention of Mr and Mrs Weasley who both jumped up and hugged Lina gushing about how worried they'd been about her and how they were glad she was okay.

"What I'd say, Freddy, our own parents prefer Lina to us!" George cried.

Lina rolled her eyes playfully and sat down at Ginny's bedside "Hey Gin."

"Hi" she replied meekly "I'm sorry."

"Sweeties you have nothing to be sorry about."

"But-"

"No, none of this is your fault Ginny" Lina didn't know about the diary, or Tom Riddle, or that because of him Ginny had been the one to push Lina down the stairs, all Lina knew was that Ginny was taken and now back safe and even if Lina did know none of that would matter because she wasn't at fault for anything.

Lina stayed with the family for an hour before Mrs Weasley insisted on the kids, apart from Ginny, return back to the feast.

The rest of the feast was something Lina was never going to forget, Gryffindor won the house cup for a second year running, but no one could argue that they didn't deserve it, Professor McGonagall announced that all exams had been cancelled and Professor Dumbledore informed everyone that unfortunately, Professor Lockhart would be unable to return next year, due to the fact that he needed to go away and get his memory back, teachers and students all cheered at this news.

Finally at the break of dawn when the feast was finally at an end Lina went to bed the happiest she had been in a long time.

Exams were cancelled, defence against the dark arts lessons was cancelled, her wandless magic lesson was at an end for the year, students were free to walk without teachers again and quidditch was at an end, and the teachers, bar Snape, were in such good moods, homework was completely non-existent. In an odd way, Lina had never felt so free while being at school.

The sunlight shone down on the Hogwarts grounds like a beacon of hope, the student's spent breaks outside basking in the rays, and while Lina this she still felt a small burden placed on her shoulders, it was getting closer to the end of school and she had yet to break up with Oliver.

Lina finally decided to do it one Friday lunchtime two weeks before the end of school, she was walking out the castle to meet Lucy when she saw who she assumed to be Oliver standing in the middle of the pitch and Lina knew if she didn't do it now she never would.

With a sudden burst of confidence she strode over to the pitch with a purpose but when she entered the pitch and knew a hundred per cent that it was Oliver she steps faltered. Oliver looked so peaceful, he was looking up at the sky with his eyes closed, Lina wanted to smile but she couldn't, she moved forward slowly.

"Oliver" Lina called softly.

Oliver opened his eyes and turned around, he smiled when he was Lina "hi."

"What are you doing out here all alone?" Lina asked.

"I wanted to check the grounds before I go home and, I know it sounds silly but I feel peaceful here."

"I understand that. Oliver-"

"I know what you're going to say."

"You do?"

Oliver nodded, he reached out and held Lina's hand "it's okay, I think we both knew this wasn't a forever thing."

"I'm really sorry" Lina looked away from Oliver.

Oliver squeezed Lina's hand "it's alright, really, I care about you and I always will."

"You are such a nice person, one day you are gonna meet someone amazing."

"But for now, friends?"

"Friends" Lina smiled and let go of his hand "goodbye Oliver."
