For the next two weeks, everything was quiet, Lina was stretched thin between her demanding lessons, homework, captaining the Hufflepuff team, doing her lessons with Professor McGonagall and revising, but constant letters between her Cedric, Lucy and Danny was keeping her sane enough.

A couple of days before the first actual Hogsmeade visit as Lina was leaving another boring History of Magic lesson with Fred, George and Lee they were all cornered by Hermione.

"How would you all like to be taught real defensive magic?" Hermione said.

"What are you on about?" Fred replied crossing his arms.

"Harry, he can teach us all how to do actual defensive magic" Hermione explained "on Saturday go to the Hogs Head pub about one o clock, it'll all be explained in detail then. Ginny's going to be there too," she said and then rushed away before Umbridge could come out of nowhere.

"Well at least we know what we're doing Saturday now," Lina said and headed off to the great hall for lunch.

Lina spent the morning in Hogsmeade with Ginny, the two girls went in every shop, Lina bought bits for everyone she could think so and Ginny herself got a new quill and bottle of ink. At five to one Lina and Ginny met Fred, George and Lee and together they all headed up to the Hogs Head pub.

The Hogs Head was a dingy place, it had one small dirty room that smelled something like farm animals. The windows around the pub were so thick with grime that very little daylight could penetrate the room so instead candles were lit on all the small wooden table. At a first look, the floor looked like it could easily have been earth but Lina quickly realised it was just years of dirt cacked on layer after layer.

"Lovely" Lina said as she and the others, there was now a large number of people who had entered the pub, approached the bar.

"Hi," Fred said getting to the bar first, he counted how many students were there and then turned back to the barman "could we have twenty-five butterbeers please?"

"Actually I'll have a firewhiskey," Lina said handing Fred twice as many Galleons as she needed too.

The barman glared at Lina and Fred for a moment, then throwing down his rag irritably he started passing up dusty butterbeers from under the bar.

"Cheers," Fred said handing them out "cough up, everyone, I haven't got enough gold for all of these."

Instead of giving Lina a glass of firewhiskey, the barman placed a whole bottle in front of her.

Lina and Fred looked at each other and shrugged, Lina took the bottle and headed over to Harry, Ron and Hermione.

"Good turn out," Lina said to them looking over her shoulder, amongst the students she saw Cho, Lina gave her a small wave and turned back to the trio.
