Obsessions Part 5

You sat in the student council room with the other council members. You were playing games with Runa.

"Aaaarrrgh.. I lost again!!" she exclaimed.

You laughed at her.

"What are you doing here? You're not part of the student council." Sayaka said angrily.

"Just let her be. The president isn't here anyway. Plus I'm playing with her. I haven't had a worthy opponent for such a long time." Runa said.

Right. Kirari only lets me in the student council room when it's only us in here. Does she really think nobody would notice?

"That raises the question, where is the president Sayaka?" Kaede Manyuda asked.

"I.. I don't know." Sayaka answered and lowered her head.

Runa laughed. "And here I thought you would know since you're her secretary. Didn't she let you in on the secret? Nyahaha"

Sayaka clenched her fist. The other council member made a fuss but you ignored them. Manyuda and Yumemite cornered Sayaka.

"Are they always like this?" you asked Runa.

"Who knows?" she answered in a singsong voice.

You glanced on the other side and saw the vice president. You can't tell if she was looking at you directly but her head is inclined in your direction.

"Uhhh. Hello?" you tried to greet her but she didn't answer. Sweat formed in your forehead.

"Nyahaha what are you so afraid about? The Vice President doesn't bite." Runa said.

You noticed the room suddenly became quiet. The fighting seemed to stop. Manyuda and Yumemi were gone. The eye patched girl stood up and went out too followed by the kimono girl. You weren't close to them so you didn't remember their names. Well, you actually weren't close to anyone except Runa and Yumemi They're the only one that surely knows your relationship with the president. You have no idea about the others.

"Will you miss the president?" Runa asked you.

"Nah. I actually feel relieved she wasn't here." you answered.

"Nyahahaha." Runa laughed and jumped off her seat. "Stay there. Keep the Vice President company." she went outside and laughed louder.

You looked at the Vice president again. The air suddenly felt so heavy.

"Uhh. I just remembered I needed to do something." you stood up and left for the door.

"Did you have fun with Jabami?" a robotic voice spoke to you.

You stopped and turned back with wide eyes.

"Was that you Vice Pres?" you asked.

"You were hanging out a lot with Jabami this days, haven't you?" she asked once more.

"Uhhh.. How do you know that? But well, they won't stop bothering me. They've kind of become my friends." You walked to her and held her hand. You begged. "Please don't tell Kirari."

She pulled her hand away from you and looked away.

Was she mad? you thought.

"Uhm.."

"Get out." she said.

"Huh? Oh ... okay?" you said and hurriedly walked out the room.

"The Vice President?" Mary asked.
