Obsessions Part 35

"Yaaaaaaah!!!"

Mary was running very fast. But behind her, Juraku closes in. They both joined the race.

"As much as I love hearing you scream, I doubt that helps." Juraku said as she ran past her.

"Damn iiiit!!!" Mary shouted.

"You can do it, Mary!" Yumeko cheered from the sidelines.

"Tell her to run faster, Sayaka." Kirari ordered.

The race finished with Juraku's win and Mary on second place. She walked towards your seats, panting.

"I'm exhausted." Mary said.

"Here. Drink up."

You gave her a bottle of water which she immediately drank empty.

"Thanks." she said.

"Next event! Hurdles! Players, get on the field." the announcer said.

"She's going in again!?" Suzui shouted.

He pointed at the players and saw Juraku smirking your way. She licked her lips as she made a 'come here' gesture with her hand, challenging the student council.

"Goddamn. This woman is angering me so much!" Mary said.

"How can she have so much stamina?" Yumeko wondered.

"If only you knew what she does. Nyaha." Runa said.

"She's right. That's why I can't let her take (Y/n) even for a minute!" Mary exclaimed.

"Didn't she have a thing for you before too, Mary?" Kirari said.

"Shut up! It wasn't like that!"

"You had a relationship with her, Mary?" you asked.

"No idiot. Don't believe everything you hear." she answered.

"So who's going to go fight her?" Yumeko asked.

"Sayaka, go for it." Kirari said with a smile.

"Me again?" Sayaka grumbled but can't disobey her beloved President.

She ran towards the field to join the game.

"I could just go." Mary said.

"You always lose. Igarashi can handle that. Have some rest." Ririka said as she wiped Mary's sweat with a towel.

"How can Sayaka have so much energy too? I have always thought of her as the nerdy type." you said.

"She gained so much strength from all the pres' errands." Runa answered.

"Ahh."

Throughout the rest of the day, Sayaka was pushed by Kirari to join every game where Juraku is in. The rest of the council was lounging at their tent chatting and eating snacks.

"I feel so bad for Sayaka." you said.

"Let her be." Midari said.

"I'll go cheer for her a bit."

You said and stood up to go with the other spectators.

"She shouldn't do that." Runa whispered to Midari.

"I agree." Midari whispered back.

"We're tied right? This should be the last game. Sayaka should win this or else.." Mary spoke.

"I'm confident she'll win." Kirari said.

"You trust her so much. Your bond is amazing." Yumeko mused.
