Every head in the great hall turned to look at Harry, no one clapped, some students stood up to her a better look but no one made a sound.
Up at the top table Professor McGonagall had gotten to her feet and rushed passed Bagman and Karkaroff to whisper into Dumbledore's ear, he was bent down slightly and frowning. He listened to what she said and straightened up nodding to McGonagall. "Harry Potter!" He called again "Harry! Up here if you please."
Lina watched, her hands glassed together as Harry got his feet, he stumbled slightly as he heard forward. As he headed to the teacher's table he passed Lina who quickly grabbed his hand and squeezed it, it was the only form of comfort she could offer at the moment.
Harry continued forward until he stopped in front of Dumbledore "well...through the door Harry" Dumbledore said completely serious.
And so he did, Harry entered through the door the other three champions had and disappeared from sight.
The second Harry was gone the hall burst into shock chatter. "This can't be real," Danny said.
"Of course it is," Lucy said "and I'm sorry Lina, I know he's your family but somehow it always goes back to Harry and Gryffindor and the one time it's about Hufflepuff they come along and take all the attention back. For fuck sake" Lucy said and banged her hand against the table.
"I, I don't even know what to say," Lina said looking at the door.
A loud bang emanated from Dumbledor's wand that was being held straight upwards, his face was more serious than Lina had ever seen it "I think it's time for everyone to head back to their room as I'm sure certain houses have some celebrating to do" he tried to speak with good humour but it didn't quite come through.
Dumbledore didn't wait to see if students complied as he, Mr Crouch, Professor Karkaroff, Madame Maxime, Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape all left the great hall and entered through the other door.
Students started to leave the hall, still talking about what had just happened, Hufflepuff students were furious and some of the older ones had started to argue with Gryffindors.
Lina saw this and sighed, this shouldn't be happening. She looked at Lucy and Danny who were still sat opposite her "I'm going to stay and wait" she said.
"For who?" Lucy asked.
"Both" Lina replied gently "like you said Luce, Harry is my family, I need to make sure he's alright and as for Cedric he always waits for me so I'm gonna wait for him. You two go ahead get the party in the common room sorted."
"Alright, Lina," Danny said "See you in a bit" he waved to her as he and Lucy left the hall.
Lina moved so she was sitting on top of the bench, her eyes stayed rooted on the door Cedric and Harry disappeared through.
