Remi Mae's POV

We stared intensely in to each other's eyes, as if we were challenging each other.

My dad let out a breath of air, dropping the gun to his side.

" You say your nothing like me, but you are in more ways than you see." He smirked.

" Fuck you." I spat.

He shook his head. " You're free to go Remi."

I stared at him for a second longer.

There was no way he was just letting me go. There had to be more.

He moved to the side, using the gun signaling me to go.

I cautiously walked past him, watching him out of the corner of my eyes.

" Oh Remi one more thing." My dad called from behind me.

As I put my hand on the door knob, I felt myself being pulled back.

Hitting the floor, I winced as I hit my head.

My dad stood over me, kicking his foot into my side.

" Never disrespect your father." He grunted as he kicked me.

Grabbing his leg with both my arms, I twisted causing him to fall onto his face.

Sitting up, I took the leg that was in my arm pulling it all the way up to his back. Leaning forward, I grabbed the gun he had dropped holding it to his head.

" Come any closer, and I will not hesitate to kill him." I said looking up at the men that surrounded us.

My dad chuckled underneath me.

" Like I said, your more like me."

I shook my head.

" No, your wrong. I'm nowhere near the monster that you are."

I stood up off of his back, still holding the gun pointed at him.

Walking backwards, I kept my eyes on everyone in the room.

Opening the door I continued to walk out, taking the magazine out, and pulling the barrel back, emptying the chamber.

Once it was empty, I threw it back into the room closing the door leaving them in there.

Turning around, I looked to both sides of me.

I put my hand over my side, as I walked towards the crowd of people.

Maneuvering through them, I made my way to the front door swinging it open and stepping outside.

I took in a deep breath of fresh air, trying to catch my breath.

Like I said, he's never just that easy.

I don't know why I was stupid to think it's would've been.

~~~
I groaned rolling over in bed, slamming my hand down on my alarm that was ringing next to me.
2:30 in the fucking morning.
Gotta love punishments.
Rolling out of bed, I held my side in pain.
I guarantee those blows he threw at my sides did some sort of damage, but who was I if I didn't tough it out.
Walking to my bedroom door, I walked down the hallway and to the stairs.
Normally I would be lazy and take the elevator, but I needed a warm up.
Jogging down the stairs, ignoring the pain in my side, I stepped down onto the second floor walking into the kitchen.
As I was walking in I seen Devilynn standing there with an apple in hand.
Keeping my head hung low, I walked over to the fruit bowl grabbing out an apple for myself.
Once my apple was secured I turned back around, walking straight out of the kitchen and up the stairs.
Reaching the fourth floor, I took a huge bite out of my apple, munching on it as I walked to my one.
Getting closer I squinted my eyes, noticing a figure leaning against the wall.
" Lisa." I called noticing the hair.
She turned her head towards me.
" Oh. Hey, I thought you were still in your room."
" No, I went to grab an apple. What do you need?" I asked.
" I came to you ask you if you were okay."
I opened my bedroom door walking and turning on the light.
Lisa followed me in.
" Yeah, I'm fine."
" Who was that guy anyway?"
I turned around with a raised eyebrow.
" Why?" I asked with a mouthful of apple.
She shrugged. " I just think If I'm going to be in the gang, then I need to know all our rivals."
I laughed. " That guy is no rival of the gang, just mine."
I took the core of my apple, throwing it in the trash can that I had in my room.
" Why only you?"
" Cause he's my dad." I answered.
I walked over to my closet opening up the doors.
" So why does he not like you?"
I shrugged. " Because I'm superior to him. He's mad that he has in my success. Just like half the men."
" You know you ask a lot of questions."
She dropped her head.
"Sorry."
My pulled my shirt over my head dropping it on the floor.
Lisa gasped.
" Your side." She said.
I looked down.
" What about it?"
" It looks bad."
I shook my head. " I've had worse."
I pulled a tank top off if it's hanger.
Putting my arms in first, I carefully pulled it over my head, wincing.
" Maybe you should tell Devilynn."
" No!" I exclaimed.
Her eyes widened at my outburst.
I pulled down my shorts, grabbing a pair of spandex pulling them up my legs.
Walking out, I shut the doors behind me.
" Devilynn doesn't find out about this, got it?"
She shook her head. " Sure, yeah."
" Good. Now if you don't mind, I have my punishment to get too. You've already made me late."
She shook her head, walking out of my bedroom.
I grabbed my phone off on the table.
3:15.
Great!
I'll most likely get added punishment.
Just what I needed.
