(3rd Person POV)
Inside the office, General James Ironwood, Glynda Goodwitch and the Fox were keeping the headmaster company.
Ironwood: They were here...
He raised his voice in anger.
Ironwood: Ozpin, they were here!
Ironwood angrily slammed his fist against Ozpin's desk.
The Fox: Good job on noticing that.
Glynda: We're very much aware of that! Thank you, James.
Ironwood: Fantastic! You're aware! Now are we going to do something about it or should we just stay the course and continue to ignore what's right in front of us?
(Your POV)
As soon as you heard that Ruby was going up to Ozpin's office, you ran towards the elevator. When you got there, you saw the door closing with Ruby inside.
(Y/N): Wait!
Ruby heard, and saw you through the crack of the closing door. She yelped and put her hand in the crack to stop it from closing. It opened back up as Ruby drew her hand back.
(Y/N): Thanks.
Ruby: It didn't crush my arm...
(Y/N): Yeah... Wait, what?
Ruby: The elevator didn't crush my arm. I got lucky.
(Y/N): The elevator doesn't crush your arm. It stops when it feels resistance.
Ruby: Oh...
The door closed once again as the elevator went up.
(Y/N): Are you alright?
Ruby: Yeah...
You paused and thought back to the scene.
(Y/N): Mask on.
The mask slid on, as you brought up the recordings.
(Y/N): Bring back the recording.
Ruby: What are you doing?
(Y/N): Looking back at the scene.
Computer brought up the screen of the crime, and you looked around.
(Y/N): This definitely wasn't you.
Ruby: What?
(Y/N): Someone else was there. The question is who?
Ruby looked nervous, and looked down, really anywhere except for your face. You then hit all of the buttons on the elevator to slow the way up.
(Y/N): Rubes... please.
(3rd Person POV)
An alert sound plays, signifying that someone had arrived on the elevator.
Ozpin: Come in.
Ruby and (Y/N) stepped out and into the room.
Ruby: Sorry it took so long. Someone accidentally hit all the buttons on the elevator on the way up here.
Ruby paused before quickly explaining herself.
Ruby: It wasn't me.
Ozpin: Thank you for coming, Ruby. How are you feeling?
Ruby: Okay, I guess. I'd feel better if my bad-guy-catching record wasn't O-for-three.
Everyone stared silently.
