(Your POV)
???: Sir.
Not hearing anything you continued to sleep.
???: Sir wake up.
You heard the raps on the door, and sat up on the bed. You walked over to the door and opened it seeing one of the soldiers.
(Y/N): What's up?
Soldier: We're ready to plan.
You nodded, grabbing your weapons.
(Y/N): What happened to the intercom?
Soldier: There needed to be a password and we don't know it.
You put your pistols on your waist and walked out of your room, following the soldier. He led you to the meeting room where a large table lay in the middle with a smaller circular device lay in the center.
The soldiers all saluted and the officer nodded to you. You waved them down, and sat down in the closest chair.
(Y/N): What's up?
The officer cleared his throat before starting.
Officer: We have gotten the coordinates and location of his most recent base. It's located in the underground tunnels that housed the subway. We don't know exactly where but we know the general direction.
(Y/N): So... Any plans?
Officer: We send everyone in except for the pilot. Our objective is to get the person behind the attack and gather any information that we can.
You nodded, getting up from your seat.
(Y/N): Let's hunt then.
(3rd Person POV)
As Team RWBY flew on the ship, Yang turned to Oobleck.
Yang: I guess I just never saw you as much of a fighter.
Oobleck: I admit I fancy myself more of an intellectual, but I can assure you, as a Huntsman, I've had my fair share of tussles.
Ruby tilted her head in confusion.
Ruby: Like the mushroom?
Blake leaned over to her, whispering.
Blake: Those are truffles.
Ruby scratched her head, obviously still confused.
Ruby: Like the sprout?
Yang then leaned over, whispering.
Yang: Those are brussels.
Oobleck: Besides, given my expertise in the field of history as well as my dabblings in the archaeological surveys, our dear Headmaster saw fit to assign me to this particular... assignment!
Weiss: What does history have to do with this?
Oobleck sharply turned towards Weiss.
Oobleck: Why, what a preposterous question, you silly girl! Why, history is the backbone of our very society! And the liver! Probably the kidneys, if I were to wager.
Weiss: And that means..?
Oobleck: The southeast quadrant outside of Vale is home to wild forests and deep caves, but it is also the location of one of the kingdom's greatest failures!
Ruby: Mountain Glenn.
Yang: That's right! It was an expansion of Vale... but in the end it was overrun by Grimm and fenced off from the rest of the city.
