Have some angst cause I love angst and I've written waaaaayyyyy to much fluff.

Evan and Connor rarely ever fought. Sure, they bickered about stupid shit like the dishes or what to watch that night, but actual fighting was something you'd rarely hear. But tonight, tonight a war was being fought between the two fiancés.

Neither of them remembered what had started it, but both refused to back down.

"You know what, Evan? You are such an asshole! I mean come on, I work just as hard as you!"

"You haven't had to work for anything, it's all been handed to you! The rich Murphy boy got everything his heart desired because your parents gave it to you!"

Now that was too far for Connor. Evan knew how long and hard Connor worked to get his relationship with his parents back on track.

"I haven't taken shit from them and you know that!" Tears welled in Connors eyes, threatening to spill. "You know what? I'm done." He grabbed his keys and slammed the door behind him.

He needed to get out before either of them said something they'd regret. Tears ran down his face as he slammed his fists on the rim of the steering wheel till he couldn't feel them anymore.

He texted Alana saying that he was staying at their place for the night, knowing she wouldn't be home from work until after midnight.

As he entered the home with the spare key given to him by Zoe, he could hear his sister snoring softly in her room. He kicked off his shoes and buried himself under a blanket on the couch. He knew that sleeping was a lost cause, so he grabbed his phone and opened Netflix, hoping that watching the John Mulaney specials could clear his head.

Five hours into his Netflix binge, he could hear the faint sound of Zoe's door creaking open. As he shifted in his spot on the couch, Zoe whipped around, not expecting someone there, and chucked the tv remote square at his head.

"Ow, what the fuck Zo?" He whispered, trying not to wake the cinnamon roll sleeping in the next room.

"Connor? What are you doing here?" She asked, taking a sip of her coffee.

"I had a fight with Evan and I needed somewhere to cool off."

"What? Are you okay? You guys never fight."

He sighed. "I don't even remember what started it. I-I just left, Zo, I left. He probably hates me."

Zoe's heart broke at the sight of her brother. "Hey, he does not hate you," she consoled him, "Evan loves you with every bone in his body. Although, did you text him to tell him where you are?"

"...No."

"Con, you know better. Evan's anxiety is already bad as it is, you should know better than to leave him with his thoughts, given your ugly past."

Connor mentally slapped himself. They'd been dating for years, how could he be so stupid.

"Ugh, I'm so stupid!"

She placed her hand on his arm, "No your not, Con. Just... go get your man."

He sprang up from his seat and struggled to put his shoes on. He didn't want Evan, he needed him.

"I'm gonna go make this right. Give 'Lana my love and I'll see you Tuesday."

As he drove home, all he could think about was Evan. He wanted to know he was okay. He wanted to know that he hadn't fucked everything up.

"Evan? Love, where are you?" He searched around their small house until he heard a sniffle from up the stairs. He softly knocked on their bedroom door. "Hello? Are you in there, love?"

"...No..."

He opened the door to reveal his boyfriend in a cocoon in of blankets, eyes puffy and red from the tears that stained his rosy cheeks. He engulfed him in a warm hug.

"Evan, I'm so, so sorry. I shouldn't have left and I should've texted you or called you to tell you where I was. Ugh, I'm so stupid."

Evan pushes away Connors tears. "Hey, you are not stupid. I'm sorry I said that your parents gave you everything, I know that's not true."

As Evan smashed his lips onto Connor's, his heart fluttered out of his chest. He'd missed this feeling. He missed having someone to hold, someone to kiss.

"Con? Can... can you just stay with me?" Connor nodded and snuggled under the blanket with him.

"I love you." He laid his head on Evan's shoulder.

"I love you too."
